Description
In this lesson, the students will learn 'must,have to, should(obligation). Grammar topic will be taught by guided discovery. Then, the lesson will continue with the controlled practice and
speaking activities.

Main Aims
To provide clarification and practice of must ,have to, should (obligation) in the context of modern manners

Sub Aims
To provide gist listening practice using a text about mobile phones and to provide fluency in speaking with pair work in the context of modern manners

Background

Class Profile
There are 16 female students who are keen on talking English and eager to learn new things

Assumptions
I assume that ss will have some diffuculty about the usage of modals, but after the lead-in part, the grammar will be taught with guided discovery.

Personal Aims
In this lesson, I'm going to use simple language to give instructions for task and activities and give delayed feedback after the activities.

Timetable Fit
In the previous lesson, the ss have practised with vocabulary based on langugae of free time activity. Then, the ss will focus on modals Next, the teacher will teach if conditionals with
some exercises.

Anticipated Problems & Solutions


Problem: The ss may may confuse the usage of modals (must,have to,should).
Solution: The teacher will teach modals with guided discovery.
Problem: In the lıstening part, the ss may not match the speakers with what they say.
Solution: The teacher will play the audio second time.
Problem: The ss may confuse the form of the modals.
Solution: The teacher will write the correct form of the modals.
