Write a technical and operational definition on the following terms:

SAMPLE
TECHNICAL DEFINITION
~ A small part of anything or one of a number, intended to show the
quality, style, or nature of the whole. A representative part or a single
item from a larger whole or group especially when presented for
inspection or shown as evidence of quality; specimen.

OPERATIONAL DEFINITION
~ Is a group of people, objects, or items that are taken from a larger
population for measurement. A finite part of a statistical population
whose properties are studied to gain information about the whole.
The sample should be representative of the population to ensure that we
can generalize the findings from the research sample to the population as
a whole.

POPULATION
TECHNICAL DEFINITION
~ Is a distinct group of individuals, whether that group comprises a
nation or a group of people with a common characteristic.

OPERATIONAL DEFINITION
~  Is the pool of individuals from which a statistical sample is drawn for
a study. Thus, any selection of individuals grouped together by a
common feature can be said to be a population. A sample is a
statistically significant portion of a population, not an entire population.
