Experiences of Students During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Introduction

Several university learners around the world are encountering considerable stress as a result of
the change in how they are taught and fear of an unpredictable future. While those seniors with
children are juggling work, finances, and family obligations. We overhear a lot on the
announcement about the pandemic’s impact on international student numbers, university
supplies, and the general economy, but don’t hear as enough from students themselves on how
COVID-19 has hit their life.

Body

In this pandemic, I experienced many battles in life. I feel unfortunate because I'm not able to
attend my moving up ceremony. As our classes moved online, I experienced causing anxiety for
some, the unchanged routines and being homebound has led to struggles with self-regulation,
keeping up with content, and feeling isolated from fellow learners or others. I experienced home
quarantined when my brother tested positive from covid. So I spend my time doing TikTok,
watching the drama, and doing the workout. Summer break gave students time to relax and
enjoy the tasks that they're doing to create more effective reopening plans for the academy
time. I also encountered how difficult it on learning online especially when the internet
connection becomes weaker and weaker. I also experienced the loss of enthusiasm to study at
those times, but I have no option to choose but to study because that is for my future. I told
myself that I would be a succesful person that's why I'm trying to pursue it. Sometimes I
encourage myself to stop studying because I'm stressed with school work and doing home
activities. As the threat of COVID-19 expanse across the world, everyone seemed to be at a loss as to
how to continue about their daily life, and people were at different stages of adjusting to their new
reality.

Conclusion

As some populations begin to reopen during the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic,
public health administrators say the best way to limit illness is to avoid being exposed to this
disease. So need to wear masks normally to avoid any possible transmission of diseases. And
we need to wash our hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after
being in a commonplace, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water
are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
