ACTIVITY 2

Direction: Perform the following test to assess your skill related components.

a. Stork balance Test


Objective: Measure your balance with one foot.
Equipment: Stop Watch, Non slip Floor or Surface
Procedures:
1. Put your hands on your waist.
2. Put your non-supporting foot to the side of your knee of your
supporting foot. You are given 1 minute for trial.
3. Raise heel of your supporting foot as time starts.
4. The stop watch should be stopped when any of the following is
observed:
 You remove your hands from your waist.
 Your feet wobbles or moves in any direction.
 The heel of your non supporting foot fails to connect with
the knee of your supporting foot.

b. Hexagon Agility Test


Objective: To determine the quickness and speed at the same time
maintaining balance.
Equipment: 60cm sided hexagon in the floor. Use tape to draw a hexagon.
Procedure:
a. Stand in the middle of the hexagon facing line A. Remember to
face line A throughout the test.
b. Click start from your stopwatch once you moving from one letter to
another.
c. Movement; Jump with both feet in line A and go back at the
middle. Repeat the movement to until you finished jumping in all
the letters. B,C,D,E,F,
d. Stop the timer once done to last letter and in preparatory
area(middle)
 Remember to go back to middle every after the letter.
 You should touch the lines of each side of the hexagon.
