AGGRESSIVE DRIVING SHOULD BE AVOIDED
INTRODUCTION

Aggressive driving is a phenomenon which has only neathly got the public worried. the national highway traffic safety
council(NHTSC) deies aggressive dring as the “ operqation of a motor vehicle in a manner that endager or is likely to
endanger persons or property “actions such as running red lights. improper passing,overtaking on the left, improper
lane change, failing to yield, improper turns, running stop signs, tall gaiting, careless driving, and speeding are
examples of aggressive driving, Such actions are dangerous to other road users. aggressive driving should be
avoded because it causes crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
BODY

The first reason why aggressive driving should be avoided is it causes crashes according to (NHTSC), betwwen 78%
( excessive speed) and 100% (improper passing) of the cases of aggressive driving resulted in traffic crashes and
96% of the drivers cited for “following too closely” or tail gaiting caused crashes as a result of their aggressive
driving.Moreover,”runnin red light”,”improper passing”, and “ overtaking on the left” topped other categories of
aggressive driving in contributing to traffic crashes.
Another reason why aggressive driving should be avoidedos it causes injuries. NTHSC states tat the
percentages of the injuries caused by aggressive driving are in almost all categories, above 100%.
Aggressive driving also causes fatalities,”over taking on the left” appears to be the most important
contributing factor in traffic fatalities as it relates to aggressive driving”improper lane change”,”running red light” ra
second through fur in terms of their contributin to traffic fatlites.

CONCLUSION

The above evidence shows that aggressive driving causes crashes, injuries, and fatalities. hence, aggressive driving
causes, injuries, and fatalities, the number of kilometers of roads in the country has increased by 1% while the
number of vehicle miles drivers has increase by 35%. morw cars and more drivers are also on the road leading to
more aggressive drivers.

Covid-19 Pandemic Affected many Filipinos lives. poor or rich, it affected everyone of us, Many Filipinos lost their
jobs and their businesses closed because of the pandemic and the lockdown, during the lockdown many people
especially the less fortunate Filipino living the on the roads, under the bridge and those on the less fortunate erea.
many jeepney drivers is forced to stop their trips because they don’t have passenger. they are forced to ask for many
on the side of the road, just to have money for their families.The online classes during pandemic, it affected many
students and teachers mental health. having classes during this pandemic is very hard, firstly not all families are
fortunate enough to buy gadgets for online classes. second every some students can’t keep up on the lesson. and
lastly, students can’t learn on online class. and the teachers, they need to wait for their students to pass the lectures
even it’s already late.the economy of our country went down and many people is still suffering until now because of
extreme poverty. many young adults and teenagers are forced to sell their sensitive pictures on the internet because
of low income and the lack of job suitable for them. many students are also forced to stop from studying because
their family can’t afford phones, internet even food for a day. this pandemic will still affect us for many years even if it
already disappear. many people and Filipinos will still suffer and will make it har to recover up from the effects that
this covid-19 pandemic. As the coronavirus pandemic rapidly sweeps across the world, it is inducing a considerable
degree of fear, worry and concern in the population at large and among certain groups in particular, such as older
adults, care providers and people with underlying health conditions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, parents are
often working from home or maybe recently unemployed due to business closures. Alternatively some parents area
essential workers with inherent occupational risk and stressors, and may face additional challenges such as limited
access to childcare. the price of the goods are now a little bit expensive that before, because of the low supplies from
our country. Many healthcare worker are stil suffering because of the lack of ppes, that they already nee to make
their own improvise ppes, The lack of facilities for covid patients and noral patients. the budget of the country is at
risk because of the covid, and I’m worried that maybe because of the loans our country, people from the government
might sell oour country and we will end up being slaves again by other countries. this pandemic left great impact in
negative way. we lose some of our love ones and this pandemic wounded us. we suffured form financial,physical,
mental, and emotional problems. and it might be hard for us to cope from tthat, but dispite of all that we are Filipinos
we can conquer it all in the right time, we are still keep on smiling and fighting. just keep on smling and living for to
see the better future that’s already waiting for us.
