TITLE: CHANGE IN THE ENVIRONMENT AS A RESULT OF CLIMATE

CHANGE

SPEAKER: Melanie Tingal

OBJECTIVE: To inform the audience what are the changes in the environment as a
result of climate change.

I. INTRODUCTION
A. Greetings from the speaker: “Good day everyone. I’m Melanie Tingal but you
can call me Melai. I’m here to enlighten you about the change in the environment as a
result of climate change.”

B. QUOTE: “I’ve starred in a lot of science fiction movies and, let me tell you
something, climate change is not science fiction this is a battle in the real word, it is
impacting us right now‘’ by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

II. BODY
A. First Main Point: Climate change is currently the most pressing global issue, and
each country must find a solution and take action to solve it.

 The amount of heat-trapping gases generated globally and how

sensitive the Earth's climate is to those emissions determine the
magnitude of climate change beyond the next few decades.
 The temperature rise has not been, and will not be, uniform or
smooth across the country or over time, because human-induced
warming is placed over a naturally changing environment.
 Climate change affects organisms and ecosystems in both direct and
indirect ways. There is ample evidence that biodiversity is already
reacting to climate change and will continue to do so in the future.
Phenology, species abundance and distribution, community makeup,
habitat structure, and ecological processes are all affected directly.
B. Second Main Point: Changes in the usage of land and other resources are causing
indirect affects on biodiversity as a result of climate change.

 These include habitat fragmentation and loss, over-exploitation,

pollution of air, water, and soil, and the introduction of invasive
species, which may be more devastating than direct impacts due to
their scale, scope, and speed.
 They will exacerbate ecosystems' vulnerability to climate change
and their ability to provide important services such as climate
regulation, food, clean air and water, and flood and erosion control.

III. ENDING: “I hope we have learned something Thank you and God bless
everyone.”
