VI. RATIONALE

The Municipality of Gitagum, Misamis Oriental has celebrated its 60th Araw ng Gitagum
through its institutionalized Araw ng Gitagum from June 4-8, 2021. It is a feast for the
Municipality mounting such grand event to promote Agricultural products, Tourism, and
investment in the entire municipality. The Municipal Tourism Office invited 11 barangays. Agri-
Tourism Competition and Miss Gitagum 2021, these activities will showcase the Barangay`s rich
history, products and culture and Destinations. Barangay Burnay Representative was able to win
the title Miss Gitagum 2021, hence it is in need to have a photoshoot for the upcoming Miss
Kuyamis 2022 event.

1. To develop significant resources and ultimately promote agricultural product, tourism

attractions and investment of the municipality.
2. To showcase the rich history and culture of our humble place.
3. To increase awareness of the celebration of the Araw ng Gitagum 2021 and upcoming Miss
Kuyamis 2022.
VII. ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
A budget of Five Thousand Pesos Only for the Miss Gitagum 2021 photographer
winner as professional fee and material rental
VIII. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:
A TOTAL OF FIVE THOUSAND PESOS only

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This agreement is entered into by and between:

BURNAY BARANGAY COUNCIL with office address at, Burnay Barangay Hall,
Gitagum, Misamis Oriental represented by HON. ROMULO L. TERRADO Punong Barangay
here in after known as the FIRST PARTY.

PHILLIP M. REDUBLADO, the Miss Gitagum-Burnay photographer of MISS GITAGUM

2021, a resident of Brgy. Molugan, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental of legal age, Filipino,
single, hereinafter to be known as the SECOND PARTY.

WITNESSETH

WHEREAS, The FIRST PARTY canvassed the services of the SECOND PARTY for
MISS GITAGUM 2021 PHOTOSHOOT after the ARAW NG GITAGUM 2021.

WHEREAS, the cost of services offered by the SECOND PARTY has a FEE of
( P5,000.00) Five Thousand Pesos only that covers the professional fee and material rental.

WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of both parties to discuss said activity/event.

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the above premises, covenants and
stipulations hereunder set forth the parties hereto have by these presents further agreed as
follows:

A. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE FIRST PARTY:

a) FIRST PARTY shall discuss with the SECOND PARTY regarding the desired
output, theme and concept of the MISS GITAGUM 2021 Photoshoot/pictorials.

b) FIRST PARTY shall pay in cash/cheque the SECOND PARTY in the following
manner: ( Full amount after Service rendered)

B.SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE SECOND

PARTY:

a) SECOND PARTY shall provide agreed output, theme, and concept of the Miss
Gitagum 2021 Photoshoot/pictorials.
 b) SECOND PARTY shall provide all materials needed for the event.

C.RELATIONSHIPS OF PARTIES

It is understood by the herein parties that the SECOND PARTY is an independent contractor and
not an employee of any Third Party.

D. TERMINATION

This contract is deemed terminated upon the fulfillment of the condition and provisions
contained herein BOTH PARTIES, however, reserves the right to terminate this contract upon
determination that the provisions herein have been violated. That all undertakings covered by
this contract should be in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations of the Republic of the
Philippines and violation of such is ground for termination of this contract.

That BOTH PARTIES warrant the faithful compliance of the foregoing terms and
conditions of this agreement.

E. EFFECTIVITY

This contract shall take effect upon signing.

IN WITNESS WHEREOFF, the parties hereto this ________ day of June, 2021 at
Gitagum, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
