The primary method of instruction will be online presentations
coupled with student learning module. The module will be
enhanced through small group discussions online of relevant
topics and presentations and/or discussions before and in the
class. Key components of topics will be reinforced using quizzes,

plays a vital role in developing and maintaining an effective online

Lesson Summary:

When you want to ask the price of something in Mandarin Chinese, you can use the
phrase duōshǎo qián, which literally means “many / few money”.

There are three characters in duōshǎo qián: 多少錢. The first, duō, means “many,” or “a
lot of.” The second character, shǎo, means “few.” The last character, qián, means
“money.”

Duōshǎo qián is sometimes shortened to “duōshǎo,” but this usage could be confusing
unless the context is clear.
