1. How will you describe the Mathematics Education in the Philippines?
Answer:
Mathematics Education in the Philippines composed of two goals by developing the student’s
learning. These are the Critical thinking and Problem-Solving. There are also Five Learning Contents of the
Mathematics Education such as:
 Numbers and Number Sense
 Measurement
 Geometry
 Patterns and Algebra
 Statistics and Probability

2. Is it possible to do problem-solving without critical thinking? Why?


Answer:
No, it is not possible to do a problem-solving without critical thinking, because critical thinking is the
process to logically analyze, evaluate, reflect and attempt to solve a problem.
