Block diagram:
Amplifier:
CA3130 OP-Amp is the amplifier for this circuit. The signal which is detected in RC oscillator is sent to
CA3130 OP-Amp here the signal is amplified to a magnitude in order to drive the bjt to saturation
region which is ON
Indicator:
This circuit combines a switch and an LED. Here the transistor acts as a switch. When a transistor is
used as a switch it is operated in the Saturation and Cut-Off Region. A transistor will act as an Open
switch during Forward Bias and as a Closed switch during Reverse Bias, this biasing can be achieved
by supplying the required amount of current to the base pin. The biasing current should maximum of
5mA. Anything more than 5mA will kill the Transistor; hence a resistor is always added in series with
base pin. Where, the value of VBE should be 5V for BC547 and the Base current (IB depends on the
Collector current (IC). The value of IB should not exceed mA. When the output of the OP-Amp is
sufficient, there is current supplied to the base of transistor which switches the transistor on and the
LED glows which indicates the presence of mobile activity.
Output:
When the device detects an incoming message or call, the LED light glows.
Applications:
This circuit can be used at examination halls, meetings to detect presence of mobile phones
and prevent the use of cell phones.
It can be used for detecting mobile phones used for spying and unauthorized transmission of
audio and video.
It can be used to detect stolen mobile phones.
It is useful for detecting the use of mobile phone for spying and un-authorized video
transmission.
It detects the incoming and outgoing calls, SMS and video transmission even if the mobile
phone is kept in the silent mode.
It is helpful in petrol pumps, gas station, historical places, religious places, court of laws,
examination halls, spying and unauthorized video transmission, military bases, hospitals,
theatres, conferences, embassies.
