Invitation for Prequalification

1. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has received a Loan from Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA) towards the cost of the Rentang Irrigation
Modernization Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Loan will be applied
to eligible payments under the contract resulting from the bidding for which this
prequalification is conducted.

2. SNVT PJPA Cimanuk Cisanggarung - Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Cimanuk

Cisanggarung, Directorate General of Water Resources intends to prequalify contractors
and/or firms for the ICB Package LOS-02 On-farm System and Tertiary Canals Upgrading
Works Left Bank II which comprises the following tentative major facilities:
• Modernization of Tertiary Canals (L=191.3 km, Q=0.361 – 0.007m3/s)
• Modernization of Tertiary Drains (L=229.8 km, Q=0.87 – 0.05 m3/s)
• Land Consolidation Works (15.52 ha)

3. It is expected that Invitation for Bids will be made and issued in December 2021 (to be
notified thereof by the Employer subsequently)

4. Prequalification process will be conducted through procedures in accordance with the

applicable Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans, and is open to all
Applicants from eligible source countries, as defined in the Loan Agreement.

5. A complete set of the Applications or Prequalification Documents can be downloaded

through Electronic Procurement Service System – SPSE ICB (“E-procurement system”)
at the Employer’s website of URL: https://spseicb.pu.go.id/eproc-icb of the Ministry of
Public Works and Housing by interested Applicant(s) upon free of charge commencing on
9th September to 7th October 2021.

6. Applications for prequalification documents thereof shall be prepared and submitted

through Electronic Procurement Service System SPSE ICB at the Employer’s website
URL:https://spseicb.pu.go.id/eproc-icb of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing on
3rd October to 10th November 2021and be clearly titled "Application to Prequalify for the
ICB Package LOS-02 On-farm System and Tertiary Canals Upgrading Works Left Bank
II" with the following information of the Employer.
