The meeting was called to order by John Paul S. Clemente, Senate President.

The opening prayer was led by Christine Hope Delotavo, Minority Floor Director

IV. Roll Call of Officers


The roll call was led by Lyka-Mae Drije, Senate Secretary, and it was
determined that the meeting had a total of 12 officers present out of the 16
Legislative Department members.

The 1st LCCB Student Senate Virtual Meeting was declared in quorum by John
Paul Clemente, Senate President.

The rules and responsibilities of each Standing Committees was discussed by
John Paul Clemente, Senate President.

Modified Parliamentary Procedures
The Basic Parliamentary Procedure was discussed by John Paul
Clemente, Senate President and presented the Modification of
procedures.
 Ask for opposition/objection.
 Opposing officer will press the raised button & will proceed to their
reason/ statement.
 No response means all are in favor
 Presiding officers will ask to move a motion/meeting
 Raised hand to signify that they will move the motion
 Allowed to use any language as long as formal used of language is
observe.
