The G20

The Group of Twenty, or the G20, is the premier forum for international cooperation.
The G20 brings together the leaders of both developed and developing countries
from every continent. Collectively, representatives from G20 countries gather to
discuss financial and socioeconomic issues economic .

G20 Role
 Managing the response to economic crises and promoting growth.
 Shaping global economic governance.
 Addressing the challenges facing the global community.

G20 Members & Participants


The G20 members are: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany,
India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa,
Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the European Union.
In addition, to the G20 members, other countries are invited to participate. Spain is a
permanent guest invitee to the G20 meetings. In 2020, Jordan, Singapore and
Switzerland are invited as guest countries.
The summit was held on November 21-22, 2020 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is the first
summit of the Group of Twenty hosted by Saudi Arabia. And the second summit of the
Group of Twenty hosted by the Middle East.
It was a unique summit, as it was held during the Corona (covid 19) pandemic period,
and the summit was attended by modern technology.
