Introduction to the course
Welcome to A Level Business. This a linear course comprising of 10 units delivered across 2 years.
In May/June 2022 your final assessments will consist of 3 x 2-hour exam papers of equal value.
Currently we do not offer an AS level of this course and as such you must complete both years of
study to gain a qualification. There is no coursework element.

Formulae and key data
There are several formulae that will be taught and used throughout the course. Unfortunately, you
will not be provided with a formula sheet in your final exams. You will need to memorise the
below formulae and more importantly be able to apply it and interpret the results.

important that you understand how to apply and assess their validity in a variety of contexts.

The following pages outline the summer activities that we are asking you to complete before the
new term starts in September.
Create a new electronic business folder on your laptop/memory stick and download the
following:

o All 3 A Level papers from the 2018 exam series

UK businesses.
