Yes, the tree symbolizes the parent and the fruit is the child. this is often said to refer to a
child's behavior. For example, if a child is naughty or not good-natured, it means: what tree he is
the fruit. Honestly, I don’t totally believe in this saying, although there is slight truthfulness in it.
Sometimes, there are incidences where the children grew and behave differently from their

parents.

5. Explain: "Values are caught, not taught"

Values are life lesson we learn through experiences or by simply how others practice it.
is

For example, we cannot teach a child to be good to others if he doesn’t know how and when to
be good in others. He will learn it eventually when he realizes what is the important of being
Th

good as he grow up every time, he sees it doing by others. Also, according to Mr. J. Philippe
Rushton, demonstrated that role modelling was the most effective way of helping our children to
internalize values. Often, adults are not aware of the impact of our actions. For instance, if a
parent curses other driver on the road, children in the car will think that it is acceptable and do
sh

likewise when they get angry. In our day-to-day lives, we need to be more conscious of our own
behavior, even when it is not directed at our children, such as our response when something
unexpected happens.
