El subject pronoun es un pronombre que toma el lugar de un nombre o
sustantivo y es usado como sujeto de la oración.

Verb to be: (Am is are)ser o estar
El verbo to be significa ser o estar en español. Se puede identificar cuando
es ser o estar dependiendo el contexto en el que se hable o se escriba dos
ejemplos son I am Jhon /ai am Jhon/yo soy Jhon y I am in the park /ai ám in de
park/yo estoy en el parque.
En el primer caso se refiere al verbo ser en español, mientras que en el
segundo caso se refiere al verbo estar refiriéndose a un lugar.
Generalmente usamos el verbo to be para referirnos a nombres, edades,
nacionalidades y profesiones, también es utilizado para describir algo o a
alguien.

Negative Form
Para la forma negativa del verbo to be se usa esta forma subject + verb to
be + not.
Question Form
Para usar la forma interrogativa en inglés, cambiamos el sujeto con el
verbo y agregamos el complemento. Verb+ subject + complement?

Are you the teacher?/ar iu de ticher?/¿Usted es el profesor?

Present Simple
El present simple está relacionado con las actividades que realizamos
todos los días. Se usa para hablar de actividades rutinaria y el presente en
general.
Para la conjugación del simple present en afirmativo siempre usaremos la
forma base del verbo con todos los pronombres solo hay cambios en la 3ra
persona del singular he, she, it a la cual le agregamos una S.
Short Answers
Do you like ice cream?/du iu laik áiscrim?/¿Te gusta el helado?
Yes, I do./ies ai du/ si, me gusta.
No, I don’t./No, ai don´t/ no, no me gusta.
Negative form
Forma: subject + be+ not + verb+ ing + complement.

He is not studying for the test./ji is not studin for de test/El no esta estudiando para el
examen.

Question Form
Formula: verb to be + subject + verb + ing + complement.
Am I protecting my children?/am ai protéctin mai chíldren?/¿Yo estoy protegiendo mi
hijos?
Are you saving money?/Ar iu séivin moni/¿Tu estas ahorrando?
Is he listening the teacher?/is ji lístening de tícher?/¿El esta escuchado al profesor?

Past of be
El pasado del verbo to be se forma con was/were y significa era o estaba.
Usamos was para el singular con los pronombres I, he, she, it. Were lo
empleamos para el plural, incluyendo you que se usa tanto para el singular en
el caso de tu, usted, como en el plural you que significa ustedes.

Past Simple
El pasado simple se refiere a un tiempo específico que comenzó y
termino en el pasado, un punto de referencia de algo que ya sucedió. En
ingles los verbos son regulares e irregulares. En los verbos regulares el
pasado se forma agregando ed. Los verbos irregulares se deben aprender de
memoria, ya que no tienen patrón para su conjugación. Formula: subject +
verb + ed + complement.

Negative
Para la forma negativa se usa el did, el cual es el pasado del verbo to do, y
agregamos not.

He did not clean the house./ji di nat clin de jáus/El no limpió la casa.
She didn’t visit her sister./shi didn’t visit jer sister/Ella no visito su hermana.

Question
Para hacer preguntas en simple past vamos a utilizar el auxiliar Did al
principio de la oración y agregaremos el signo de pregunta al final de la
oración.

Future
Para expresar el futuro utilizaremos Will y
going to. Will generalmente se usa para una decisión espontanea, o alguna
actividad no planificada con antelación. La fórmula para formar el futuro con
Will es Subject + Will + verb + complement.

El imperativo se utiliza para dar órdenes, mandatos, prohibiciones,
instrucciones etc. Para formar el imperativo usamos la forma base del verbo

Whose se usa para preguntar de quien es algo o alguien.

Usamos ‘s como determinante para expresar que algo pertence a alguien o a

Para el plural solo usamos un apostrofe.

There is y there are significa hay y lo usamos para describir lugares. There
is se refiere al singular y there are al plural.

Adjectives
Un adjetivo es una palabra que describe un sustantivo, persona cosa o
idea. Los adjetivos en ingles se colocan siempre antes del sustantivo. A blue
house. A beautiful woman.
Big- A big house./ei big jaus/Una casa grande.
Old- An old man./an ould man/Un hombre viejo.
Cheap- A cheap supermarket./ei chip supermarket/Un supermercado barato.
Heavy- A heavy truck./ei jevi trok/Un camión pesado.

Important- An important person./an important person/una persona importante.

Los adverbios responden a la pregunta ¿cómo?, ¿Cuándo?, de qué manera,
entre otras. Se plasman generalmente después del verbo principal o después
del objeto. Mayormente el adverbio se forma agregando LY al adjetivo.

Usamos la preposición at para hablar de tiempo exacto.

Usamos la preposición in para meses años, siglos, décadas y periodos de

Los adverbios de frecuencias lo usamos para describir con la frecuencia que
realizamos alguna acción o actividad. En la mayoría de los casos, el adverbio
de frecuencia se posiciona después del sujeto y antes del verbo.

To have: main verb/auxiliary
El verbo to have se usa para indicar posesion, significa tener, Por
consiguiente, debe estar seguido de un objeto directo. La abreviation de del
verbo to have es ‘ve, ‘s o ‘d las cuales normalmente se usan en el present
perfect y el past perfect. La forma negativa de have es don’t have o doesn’t
have, pero para el auxiliar es have not, has not.
