Tools and equipment can divide in many categories.

Claw Hammer

Definition of hammer

Hammer is a tool meant to deliver an impact to an object. Hammer has different categories and
design. That is claw hammer, framing hammer, geologist hammer, upholstery hammer, cross-peen
hammer, ball-peen hammer and others.

Function of hammer

The function of hammer are for driving nails, fitting parts, forging metal and breaking up objects.

A screwdriver is a tool for driving screws and rotating other machine elements with the
mating drive system.

Function of screwdriver

The screwdriver is made up of a head or tip, which engages with a screw, a mechanism to
apply torque by rotating the tip, and some way to position and support the screwdriver.

Definition of chisel
Chisels have a wide variety of uses. Many types of chisels have been devised, each specially suited to
its intended use. Different types of chisels may be constructed quite differently, in terms of blade
width or length, as well as shape and hardness of blade. They may have wooden handles attached or
may be made entirely of one piece of metal.

Function of chisel

A chisel is a tool with a characteristically shaped cutting edge (such that wood chisels have lent part
of their name to a particular grind) of blade on its end, for carving or cutting a hard material such as
wood, stone, or metal.

Definition of pincer

Pincers are first-class levers, but differ from pliers in that the concentration of force is either to a
point, or to an edge perpendicular to the length of the tool. This allows pincers to be brought close to
a surface, as is often required when working with nails. Carpenter's pincers are particularly suited to
this task.

Function of pincer

A pincer is a hand tool used in many situations where a mechanical advantage is required to pinch,
cut or pull an object.

6. SAWS
Definition

Saws are a common workshop tool. The frames come in a range of shapes and sizes.
For any given frame there’s a range of available hacksaw blades to cope with different
materials and situations.

Function

The hacksaw frame can be adjusted to take different blade lengths and when the blade
is placed in the frame and it is tightened to the correct tension by a tensioning device
such as a wing nut.

Function

Adjustable Spanner are tool used for twisting or holding,tightenig or loosening bolt
heads or nuts.

8. Bolts And Nuts


Definition

A metal pin with a head at one end and a thread (as on a screw) at the other.

Function

Used with a nut for holding things together.

Definition

Made of steel and plastic.


Function

Tool that quickly used for making holes in hard substances.

10. Multimeter

Function
 A multimeter is used to make various electrical measurements, such as AC and DC voltage,
AC and DC current, and resistance.

Descriptions

 It is called a multimeter because it combines the functions of a voltmeter, ammeter, and


ohmmeter. Multimeters may also have other functions, such as diode and continuity tests.
 The descriptions and pictures that follow are specific to the Fluke 73 Series III Multimeter,
but other multimeters are similar.
