1- Read the article. Choose the correct words.

My name is Sofia, and my best friend at school is Nura. She’s tall, with curly black hair, and she’s
got a very nice smile. But sometimes, she’s sad because she isn’t always happy at home. She lives
in a small house with her mother, Nazia and her father. She hasn’t got any brothers or sisters.
Now, her father has got an illness, and needs help. Nura’s father doesn’t work, so her mother
works a lot. Sometimes she’s very tired at home. It’s di- icult for her, but she’s strong. They
haven’t got nice gadgets, like laptops, or tablets. They haven’t got a lot of money. I always give
Nura a hug when I see her, and help her do homework. I don’t want her to get a bad mark in her
tests. She o en comes to my house, and uses my laptop. I’m happy to help because I like Nura a
lot. Sometimes she helps me, too. She cooks great food with her mother. Sometimes I go to their
house and eat. I’m never hungry after that!
