312121 CLOCK If a "no refresh" is detected by the CFDIU on the clock bus, the CFDS failure has No
erroneously "CLOCK" instead of "CFDS" for source in the printed reports and in the
reports sent to the ACARS/ATSU (PFR/CFR/RTF). The failure is properly detected,
the SOURCE wording only is incorrect.
Deviation Status : REV00
312121 CLOCK If a "no refresh" is detected by the CFDIU on the clock bus, the CFDS failure has for No
source "CFDS" in the printed reports, but has erroneously "CLOCK" in reports sent to
the ACARS/ATSU (PFR/CFR/RTF) if the "no refresh" is detected more than 4s and
less than 1min (i.e. if it is detected more than 1min, the source is "CFDS" as
expected). The failure is properly detected, the SOURCE wording only is incorrect for
ACARS transmissions according to the conditions defined before.
Deviation Status : REV06
312121 CLOCK The CFDIU Fault message "312121 CLOCK" is spurious when triggered in flight No
phase 1 and is not associated with the ATSU fault message "312121
CLOCK(2FS)/ATSU1(1TX1)". Filtering of Fault message "312121 CLOCK" in PH1 is
not effective on CFDIU STD 9 PN C12860AA02.
Deviation Status : REV02
312121 CLOCK The CFDIU fault message "312121 CLOCK" is spurious when triggered in flight No
phase 0 and is not associated with the ATSU fault message "312121
CLOCK(2FS)/ATSU1(1TX1)". CFDIU could detect an issue of the clock at power up,
because GPS is not available at that time, just after power up. In this case, the failure
message is present in PFR even if A/C Clock is recovered before PFR opening.
When the CFDIU detects this issue at power-up, the flight phase can be not yet
computed by the FWS and so a flight phase 0 is recorded by the CFDIU. Filtering of
Fault message "312121 CLOCK" in flight phase 0 is not possible with CFDIU.

3443 NAV TCAS FAULT The Collins Aerospace TCAS TTR-2100 may reset in flight at high altitude following ISI 34.43.00042 No
Single Event Upset (SEU) which can cause a bit to change state in FPGA registers.
In this case the unit recovers by itself after an autoreset. The consequences are a
short ECAM alert "NAV TCAS FAULT", a PFR message "TCAS (1SG)" and the TSD
"TRx FPGA CRC Monitor" logged in memory. If this behavior is observed or the fault
is reported to the maintenance system, it can be considered as a spurious effect in
the following conditions: - the symptoms correspond to the ones here above
described. - the BITE test of the TCAS (AMM TASK 34-43-00-740-001-x) does not
confirm the Failure. The unit must not be removed in this case.

be disregarded if: - the ECAM alert does not last more than 2s or no logbook
complaint, and - the TSD of the TCAS shows #XPDR x BUS ACTIVITY# - the BITE
test of the ATC and TCAS does not confirm any failure

ECAM in flight, -No EGPWS BITE message and no TSD, OR presence of the BITE
message GPWC(1WZ) in the PFR associated with the TSD #GPWC TIMEOUT#.
-The EGPWS recovers automatically after around 10 seconds -On ground the BITE

284234 AFS: FQIC The "AFS: FQIC" message is generated as a result of the FMS not receiving FQIC data for two

output. Whilst not receiving FQIC data, the FMS continues to calculate the FOB using the fuel flow
system. As a result, this behaviour in the case of power supply transient has no operational
consequence.

be missing. For example the warning: "31-00 C/B TRIPED REAR PNL W-Z" appears as: "31-/B

alarm is missing. When it happens, it affects both Printed PFR and ACARS transmitted PFR. The
warning is properly acquired, and it is possible to deduce the correct Warning message wording
unambiguously with the TSM.

3132 CFDS / PFR FILTER Potential Warning and Failure messages are recorded in CFDIU memory but are automatically Airbus_SB 31-1416
