PART 1. EVALUATE / TEST ASSESSMENT

1. From figure 1 sketch the wiring diagram

2. What is the difference between circuit diagram and wiring diagram?

Wiring diagram is a form of schematic to show the connections which are relevant to the circuit
in question. This is a little complicated form of block diagram but simpler than a circuit diagram; which
contains necessary information on how an electrical circuit behaves, what components the circuit
contains, and their respective specifications. This is why; a circuit diagram is more detailed and
complicated than either a block diagram or a wiring diagram. Wiring diagram describes the circuit in
general, while a circuit diagram does the same thing; in more detail.

3. What is block diagram give example?

A block diagram is a diagram of
a system in which the principal parts
or functions are represented by
blocks connected by lines that show
the relationships of the blocks. They
are heavily used in engineering
in hardware design, electronic
design, software design, and process
flow diagrams.

4. Give an example of system diagram in explain.

It shows the very beginning of a
system design for an elevator. We
have marked the elevator system
as a labeled box, and indicated the
principal inputs and outputs as
different types of arrows.

One very important reason for

creating a specification of a system is to record the decisions made during its design.
Besides the legal requirements - being able to account for your actions as an engineer -
documentation provides one with the means to remember what one did.

5. From figure 1 sketch the wiring diagram

6. What is the difference between circuit diagram and wiring diagram?

The electrical diagram which shows the practical connection, position, and layout
of each electrical appliance and all parts of an electrical installation is called Electrical
Wiring Diagram. While The electrical diagram which is used to explain the working and
operation of an electrical circuit and it is easy to understand is called Electrical Circuit
Diagram.

7. What is block diagram give example?

Block diagrams are typically used for
higher level, less detailed descriptions
that are intended to clarify overall
concepts without concern for the details
of implementation. Contrast this with
the schematic diagrams and layout
diagrams used in electrical engineering,
which show the implementation details
of electrical components and physical
construction.

8. Give an example of system diagram in explain.

 Gasoline Engine System

Accompanying the tightening of

environmental regulations, automotive
engines are required to meet the
standards for higher efficiency and lower
emissions. Toshiba's motors ICs suitable
for the control of throttle and exhaust
gas recirculation (EGR) valves help
optimize engine efficiency.

PART 2. EXTEND

1. Sketch a simple electrical bulb wiring diagram with switch.

2. Explain the system diagram.

System Diagrams are models used to visually express the dynamic forces acting
upon the components of a process and the interactions between those forces. A system
diagram is a visual model of a system, its components, and their interactions. With
supporting documentation, it can capture all the essential information of
a system's design. There are many variations of diagramming style that all fall under this
rubric.

3. Why is it important to display/show major electrical/electronic symbols?

Electrical symbols are used to simplify the drafting and to understand the drawing.
Electrical symbols are required to do the electrical drawing and without the help
of electrical symbols, we won't be able to do the electrical drawing. Electrical circuits are
represented by electrical drawings. Electronic component symbols are used to denote
the components in circuit diagrams.

4. Sketch a simple electrical bulb wiring diagram with switch.

5. Explain the system diagram.

System diagrams are powerful tools that help you to understand how complex
systems work. Systems analysed may be anything from businesses, through biological
population models, to the impact of social policy, etc. System Diagrams are models used
to visually express the dynamic forces acting upon the components of a process and the
interactions between those forces.

6. Why is it important to display/show major electrical/electronic symbols?

In electronic circuits, there are many electronic symbols that are used to represent
or identify a basic electronic or electrical device. Scientists and engineers have
developed a set of symbols to represent the components of an electric circuit. This
makes it simpler to show how the various components of a circuit are wired together. It
is developed to present the components of an electric circuit. In
