Educational History:

As per my educational qualification, I completed my secondary education in the year 2013 from
--------------------------------------.Further, I completed my senior secondary education in the 2015
from .During my senior secondary, I choose science field during
my senior secondary having major subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
As I belong to (state), where main source of earning is agriculture, I have always seen my
grandfather working hard to cultivate his land. This not only fascinated me towards knowing
different techniques of growing crops but also environment conditions required. So, to
understand technical aspects of agriculture, I took admission in Bachelor of Science in
Agriculture (Honours) and complete the same in There was
no backlog during my graduation. During the program, the course curriculum exposed me to
different facets of agriculture. I did not limit myself to academics but also active participant in
various co-curricular activities of the university. My greatest strength has been my enthusiastic
nature which never let me sit idle due to which I was always a part of one co-curricular activity
or another. I have represented my university in Inter University competitions during our cultural
fests. But my ambition is not completed yet I cleared IELTS test in year and scores

Gap Explanation:

I got my graduation result in July 2019. After completion of my Bachelor degree, I started
looking for a job. Many jobs require specialised skills, knowledge and practical training. I tried
in many reputed companies but due to lack of practical exposure and specialized skills, this
company considered me for junior post with low salary package. I also came to know that
Supply chain management has huge growth for Agriculture background individuals. So, I finally
decided to study Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in this specialization which enhances my career
and employability prospects. I preferred to opt for Canada but due to COVID-19, lockdown was
imposed. Everything was closed during lockdown. Later on, discussed with my parents they
allow me to process the same and I have shortlisted Cape Breton University as I missed the
September 2020 intake so applied for very next available intake i.e. January 2021.

Why I opt for this course: -

Well my course is Supply chain management which is 2 year course. During my college days I
had studied different subjects like Agricultural Economics, Plant Pathology, Agricultural
Finance, Marketing, Trade and Prices, Food Science, Post-harvesting Management of fruits and
vegetables, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Communication and many more.
Supply chains are principally concerned with the flow of products and information between
supply chain member organizations—procurement of materials, transformation of materials into
finished products, and distribution of those products to end customers. The supply chains of
different agricultural commodities in India, however, are fraught with challenges stemming from
the inherent problems of the agriculture sector. The agri-supply chain system of the country is
determined by different issues like dominance of small/ marginal farmers, fragmented supply
chains, absence of scale economies, low level of processing/value addition, inadequacy of
marketing infrastructure etc. The quality of commodities deteriorates because of lack of
transportation and marketing. Due to this farmers and companies cannot get optimum price of
their products. To overcome this problem, I have chosen to do diploma in this course.

COURSE APPLIED FOR:

Now I apply for course in Supply Chain Management in Cape Breton University, Sydney,
Nova Scotia in January intake 2021. It is 2 year long post graduate level program. The 2 years’
duration is divided into 4 semesters. In Supply Chain Management major, I will learn to solve
complex business problems related to the journey of products from the manufacturer to the
customer. I will gain skills and techniques for managing and improving the integration of design,
resources, processes and customer requirements. During the course, I will study various subjects
like Operations Management (MGSC 5128), Procurement and Supply Management (MGSC
5123), Global Sourcing (MGSC 5121), Supply Chain Management (MGSC5114), Marketing
(MRKT5301), Information Systems for Management (MGSC5101), Statistics (MGSC 5108),
Quantitative Methods (MGSC5108) and many more. The program also offers the potential for
facilitated internship work experience based upon meeting minimum requirements.

Family Background

Well, I hail from nuclear family. There are five members in my family including me, my parents
and two siblings. My father is a occupation or designation. I have paid CAD $ as tuition
fees and I also got Scotia bank GIC of $10,000 for living expenses. My brother is also doing job
in private firm.

Why I choose Canada for my study: -

There is quite of few reasons why I choose this country. First and foremost is ambience of
Canada which is amiable as well as education’s system is tremendous and its ranks among the
best in the world. Canada is a peaceful, politically stable and safe country. It has internationally
recognized degrees, and it gives health amenities to its students. Canada is multicultural country
and its destination can offer me the desired course contents at a reasonable fee structure unlike
United States and other international countries where learners have to pay exorbitant money.
Canada is the world’s most educated country. In fact, over half of its residents have university
degrees. It must be pretty interesting to be a student there than any other countries like Australia,
UK, and USA. Some of the top universities and colleges in the world are located in Canada, and
students from all over the world have come to join the biggest names in their field. Apart from
this, Canada provides me peaceful environment to pursue my diploma.

Reason of choosing Cape Breton University

Future Plans

After studying this post-graduation diploma from Canada I will get international exposure and
education both. So, I look forward to shape my career in halls of Cape Breton University. I can
join Accenture, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Procter & Gamble (P&G), Hindustan Uniliver Limited,
ITC, Puma, Myntra, Amazon in my home country, as these companies thrives on the expertise of
Supply Chain and many more other organizations after gaining Canadian Degree. My plan is to
work with a well reputed organization where I can utilize my skill. In India there is a very great
opportunity for trained employers, so international study will give me the opportunity to have
cutting over my competitors back in India. Supply Chain Management is the next big thing in the
Indian industrial scenario. Due to increasing uncertainty of supply networks, globalization of
businesses, proliferation of product variety and shortening of product life cycles, I can join
reputed companies after getting masters diploma from Cape Breton University. I will get good
placement in renowned companies & I can work on various respectful positions such as Supply
chain analyst, Demand/ supply planner, Transportation specialist, Strategic planner,
Warehouse manager, Resource Manager.
