Vibrance:
1. How does Hue and Saturation differ from Vibrance as it relates to the adjustments you
can make to an image? Hue effects the overall color of the image and saturation
enhances every color in an image. Vibrance is more specific.
2. What does the Hue slider control in an image? Overall color
3. What does the saturation slider control in an image? The intensity of the colors.
4. What does the Master drop arrow in the Hue and saturation adjustment window
control? To specifically edit a color ranges hue, saturation and lightness.
5. What does the icon with the pointed finger with two arrows located in the lower left-
hand corner of the Hue and Saturation window do? To change a color range that isn’t
covered in the master tab, it will allow you to click on a color to change the saturation.
Adjustment Layers:
1. Where in the layers panel do you create an adjustment layer? The bottom of the layers
menu and click the half black/ half white circle.
2. When an adjustment layer is created, what layers are impacted by the adjustment
layer? All the layers below it.
3. What is the major advantage to using an adjustment layer as appose to making the
adjustment on the image itself? You are able to make layer wide changes and edit those
changes at anytime by selecting properties on the adjustment layer.
