GUIDELINES
REGISTRATION

 The schools have to register themselves by filling the Google Form available at the Registration Link on our
school website www.dpsjankipuram.com
 Alternatively, the schools can scan the QR code given below or type the link directly on the URL bar of the web
browser to reach the Registration form.

 The registration link will be active on our school website from 10 September 2021.
 The online digital video conferencing like Zoom, Google Meet, etc. will be the platform for the online
events.

The schools are requested to confirm their participation through mail by 12 September 2021 on
theplatformdpsjkp@gmail.com and complete the registration on the provided link by
21 September 2021.

 While choosing the participants for the events, kindly go through the Time Spectrum carefully so as to
avoid any clashes.
 Any changes in the participation details will be accepted before / on 25 September 2021.
 The changes must be authenticated by the School Principal and should be notified through an email.
Changes in the Google Form will NOT be accepted.

GENERAL

 The Guidelines laid down for each event must be adhered to. The decision of the judges will be final
and binding on all participants.
 Each school must appoint a Teacher Co-ordinator in order to maintain seamless communication.
 All the teams are requested to mail an Introductory Video (latest by 26 September 2021) of not
more than 45 seconds including the following:
a. A Student expressing the Team's hopes, aspirations and readiness.
b. The video must showcase school building, group photograph of the team with the Principal
[all names to be mentioned] and School logo. School name to be arranged as per the team's discretion.
 All the teams must upload individual photographs of the participants through the registration form. The
student's photograph must be in proper school uniform. Background of photographs should be
preferably white / red.
 WhatsApp groups will be created for General Notifications and links for the Online – Live
(Google / Zoom ) Sessions. Teacher Co-ordinators of Participating Teams will be included. Besides this,
Individual Competition - WhatsApp groups will be created for the participants.
 For all offline events, the teams are required to upload the final video on Google Drive and send
the link to the respective email ids mentioned under the rules of the competitions latest by
30 September 2021.

a. All the winners shall receive awards in the form of E - Certificates / E - Trophies in the
Virtual Valedictory Ceremony to be held on 7 October 2021. Participation E- Certificates will be
given to all participants.
b. The Results will be updated every day on the School's Website www.dpsjankipuram.com.

3.The video must be recorded in the landscape mode only.
4.The last slide of the video must have the picture of the finished article.

The participants are required to prepare a documentary on any ONE of the above-mentioned topics.
Rules:

2.Any editing software like Kinemaster, Adobe premiere Pro, Filmora etc. can be used.
3.A copy of scenes/clips from movies/documentaries can be used provided proper credit within the
presentation as well as in the annotated bibliography is given.
4.The script/content/dialogues and the overall audio must be original and unique.
5.The participants are required to play their documentary video before the judges on the day of
competition.
6.The participants are required to keep their camera ON during the session.
7.The documentary needs to be uploaded on any cloud server and the link of the file should be

The participants are required to make a 3D animated advertisement of not more than 1 minute.
Rules:
1. Adobe After effects (CS 6) will be used for creating and editing.
2. Participants have to record their working during the competition using any screen recording software and share the same
throug a link within 30 minutes of the competition.
3. The participants need to stay connected on a Zoom/ Google Meet session throughout the working
time. The link for the purpose will be shared with the participants on the day of competition.
4. Resource material will be provided on Google drive and link will be shared for the same. Time of 15 minutes will be given to
download the resource material.
5. Material other than the resource material can be used for designing the video but 4 out of the total 5 resource material
provided should be used by the participant.
6. After completion, the participant needs to upload the video on a link provided for the purpose.
7. Maximum time for uploading the video will be 10 minutes. Any entry uploaded beyond 10 minutes will not be accepted.
8. Maximum two teams can participate from each school.
9.The teams will be adjudged on the following points:
a. Sound Effects
b. Graphic Effects
c. Skill
d. Creativity
e. Overall Presentation

Platform 20 : Innovatica
Class : VI - XII
No. of Participants : 02 per team
Duration : 1 hour (Round 2)
Dress Code : School Uniform
Mode : Ofine (First Round) & Online (Second Round)

Participants are required to create a working model of any utility item conceptualized by them.
Rules :
1. The model should use scrap like simple plastic bottles/ parts harvested from toys/ components from old electronic
devices etc.Fresh components purchased from market can be used wherever required but usage of such
components should be minimized.
2. The participants are required to submit a clear video of the model covering all its aspects of working.
The maximum length of the video can be 2 minutes.
3. The video should be uploaded on any cloud server and the link to the file should be sent from the school's
registered e-mail Id. The submissions are required to be sent to – innovatica.platform21@gmail.com
4. Best five entries will qualify for the Final Round.
5. The final round will be conducted through Zoom/ Google Meet where the participants will have to give a
presentation on their concept/ utility/ components etc. The duration of the presentation can be maximum 3 minutes.
The participants can share their screen to show any picture/ presentation for the purpose.
6. The presentation will be followed by a Question-Answer round where the participant will be required to answer
the questions of the judges regarding their model.
7. Maximum two teams can participate from each school.
8. The teams will be adjudged on the following points:

Platform 21 : Stem to Stern

Class : VI & VII

Subject : Science Technology Engineering Maths
Mode : Online
The First Round is the “Knock-Out Round” in which the participants are required to solve the written questionnaire on
Google Form within the specific time. The First Five Teams with highest correct answers will qualify for the Final Round.
1.The participants are expected to join the meeting at least ten minutes before the scheduled time.
(The link for the same shall be sent through e-mail)
2.The link for the questionnaire will be posted in the chat box.
3.Both the members of a team are required to attempt the questionnaire. The teams with highest cumulative scores shall
qualify for the Final Round.

The Final Round is “Cross the Hurdles” where the teams are required to solve the questions based on the
application of Analytical and Critical skills of varied difficulty levels. In case of a TIE in the final round,
a SURPRISE TIE-BREAKER ROUND shall be conducted.

Platform 22 : Trailblazer Wizards

Class : IX – XII
No. Of Participants : 02
Duration : 15 minutes (for Presentation)
Dress Code : School Uniform
Topic : Digitalization/ Vertical Farming / Smart City / Rain Water Harvesting /Aquaponic Vegetation/
Engineering Models Using Waste Material/Optimization of Space (eg. Parking Concept,
Origami)/ Toy puzzles (3D, 2D)/ Mysteries of Universe.
Language : English
Mode : Ofine (First Round) ; Online (Final Round)

The participants are required to choose any one topic and present a constructed technical working model
through elaboration of related Case Study.
Rules :
1.The participating teams are required to shoot a video of maximum ten minutes while constructing the model.
2.The video should be in landscape mode.
3.The dimension of working model should be around 3 feet × 2 feet.
4.The video should have a synopsis as well as a owchart for the model.
5.The video must be labelled with the school code, names of the participants and event code.
6.The video should be uploaded on any cloud server and the link of the file should be sent from the school's
registered e-mail Id. The submissions are required to be sent to trailblazerwizards.platform21@gmail.com
7.The best six teams qualified for the Final Round will be informed via mail.
8.The qualifying teams will have to give a live presentation of the working model before the judges.
9.The participating teams are expected to join the meeting at least ten minutes before the scheduled time

Platform 23 : Optima Deserta (Cultural Fashion Fiesta)

Theme : Human Civilization - Greek / Egyptian / Indian /
Mughal / Rajput / Tribal (Choose Any One)
Mode : Online

The participating teams are required to design the dress along with the accessories and present it with the
help of live model.

Rules:
1.The participating teams are expected to arrange the required material well in advance.
2.The participants are expected to join the meeting at least ten minutes before the scheduled time with video
mode ON. (The link for the same shall be sent through e-mail)
3.All the accessories to be made out of either biodegradable objects (Paper, Fruits, Vegetables, Leaves, etc.) or e-waste.
4.The Model (student / family member) is expected to wear and present the dress, accessories designed by the participant.
5.The time mentioned above is reserved for designing of the dress and the accessories. After designing, the participants
will immediately present their dress on the virtual platform.
6.The teams will be adjudged on the following points:
a. Creativity
b. Relevance to the Theme
c. Usage of Biodegradable / e- waste articles
d. Overall Presentation
