Definition
Aeroelasticity is the subject that describes the interaction of aerodynamic, inertia and elastic forces
for a flexible structure and the phenomena that can result.
Phenomena
• Divergence (static)
• Control Surface Reversal (static)
Inertial Forces
• Flutter (Dynamic)
• Buffet (Dynamic)
• Limit Cycle Oscillations (Nonlinear)
