Project Title: Contact Profile

Client: Baxter Healthcare Ltd.
Role: ETL Developer
Domain: Healthcare (Insurance)
Team size: 7
Duration: July 2020 to September 2021
Environment: IBM Data Stage 11.5
Project Descriptions: Baxter is a for-profit American health insurance company based in
Deerfield (HQ), US. In 2021, the company ranked 41 on the Fortune 500 list, which made
it the highest ranked company based in Kentucky. It has been the third largest health
insurance in the nation. Here, the Baxter’s Consumer’s Phone number and email details
from multiple source systems are to be loaded into a central Contact Repository system.
Prior to loading the phone numbers and email addresses, data quality rules, based on
business team’s input after proper data profiling, are applied to filter out phone numbers
and email addresses not pertaining to the rules to be maintained as exceptions. Any change
in the contact details are captured as part of the delta capture process.

Responsibilities:
• Worked on the change requests to the existing Data Stage jobs as per updated HLD
sent by the Business (High Level Design or Business Requirement Document).
• Updated the existing Low-Level Design Documents, Prepared Mapping sheet
documents, Unit Test Case, Component Integration Test Case Documents.
• Involved in the UAT, Production Support and Migration Activities, Bug Fixing and
enhancement of major functionalities in various subject areas.
• Tuned transformations and jobs for Performance Enhancement Responsible for
driving the status calls and technical calls within team and other dependent teams.
• Develop the DataStage parallel jobs for extracting, cleansing, transforming,
integrating, and loading data using DataStage Designer.
• Create the mapping sheet as per the transformation logics.
• Extract the data as per business logics by developing the SQL queries and process the
data from the source end and interact with the team to verify the feasibility in the ETL
Datastage tool.
• Validate the data according to the business requirement and do root cause analysis for
the fallouts
• Create DataStage jobs, sequences according to the transformation rules in mapping
doc and execute the same.
 • Involved in discussions with Business to validate the data report generated by Survive
and taking the signoff from them on the data if there are no issues.

Project Title: ERP BI (ARO)

Client: Humana Healthcare Ltd.
Role: DataStage ETL - Technical Support & Enhancements

Project Descriptions: ERP Business Intelligence (BI) will serve as a foundation for
Humana’s long-term enterprise- wide Information management needs and will provide a
globally consistent and cohesive view of finance and customer –centric supply chain data.
ERP BI is a Finance, Supply Chain and Athena Reporting system using Cognos Reporting
Tool. It consists of 4 Regional Data warehouses, 4 Regional Data Marts and 1 Global Data
Mart. All the 4 Regional Data warehouses and 4 Regional Data Marts are operational.
Currently, the Regional reporting for UCAN, LATAM and APAC is operational. As of
now there are no reports for EMEA region. Key finance reporting objectives are sales of
the products, support budgeting and forecasting process Etc.
Responsibilities:
• Requirement Analysis, preparation of Design Document, test cases and test logs.
• Reviewing codes of the other peers.
• Coordination with clients/end users for business requirement clarification and issue
solving.
• Design and Implemented DataStage jobs to transfer the data from source to staging area
and applying transformation business rules and finally loading the data into Target
Systems as per business requirements.
• Working in Production Support and Operations teams to resolve production issues in a
timely and efficient manner.
• Handled SQL issues while loading the data into data warehouse – stage to Common DB
tables and foundation tables.
• Dealt with the basic UNIX operations as a part of ETL designs & development.
• Worked on handling clean-up the duplicates with code fixes from stage to Summary
tables.
• Working with Service Now tool for tracking the incidents of production job failures and
close the incident ticket with in SLA time.
• Interacting with external team when source files not received on time.
