o University program provides access to the same full production capability tools that our commercial customers utilize
o Cadence has the broadest technology portfolio that supports all aspects of IC, RF, Chip, Package, Board, Analysis
o Analog, Mixed Signal, RF, Digital, Verification, Characterization, PCB, Packaging, Multi-Physics Analysis, Photonics

• The suite of tools provided as part of the Cadence University Program offering is the same
capability leveraged by commercial customers to develop industry leading technology across a
broad range of verticals and technology areas
o 5G, IoT, Automotive, AI/ML, Medical Device, Sensors, Agrobusiness, RFID, etc.

• University licensing to be provided

o Provide up to 65 Brazil Universities with 150 copies of each license that is incorporated in the Cadence’s standard
product portfolio and University Program offering
o This software package provided to each university is valued at >$1Billion USD per year

• Cadence’s intent is to be the primary EDA partner for SBMicro and Universities
