AMX–4 mobile X–ray units with Model numbers 46–315161G1, 46–315161G2,

46–315161G5, 46–329267G1, 46–329267G2, 46–329267G5, 46–329267G7,
46–329267G8, 2115090, 2115090–2, 2115090–5, 2115090–7, 2115090–8,
2115090–12, 2115090–13, 2115090–14, 2115090–18:

Manufactured after February 21, 1992 with serial numbers greater than
324709WK5;

That exhibit bending and flaking of the column flanges that support the car-
riage in the vertical column.
PURPOSE:

Vertical columns in AMX–4 units sometimes exhibit failure modes that warrant the
replacement of the original column with the new production columns.

RELATED FMIS:

FMI 10661.

Note: FMIs 10637 and 10661 must both be ordered and installed together

FMI 10637 is the replacement column;

FMI 10661 is a kit containing instructions and cover parts required to com-
plete the column replacement.
