TOPIC: Hobbies and Sports HOURS: 2 FROM: June 15th TO: June 15th

STANDARD: Utilizo variedad de estrategias de comprensión de lecturas adecuadas al propósito y al tipo de texto.

BASIC LEARNING RIGHT (BLR): Recognizes general and specific information in written and oral opinion texts and
discussions on familiar topics.

LEARNING GOALS: Students will be able to read and identify texts about sports and spare time hobbies.

COMPETENCES: Reading/Speaking.

ESTRATEGIAS DIDACTICAS Y METODOLOGICAS (EJECUCIÓN DIDACTICA – ACCIONES PEDAGÓGICAS)

WARM UP (5 minutes): First of all, the guidelines for the realization of the class will be given, a text will be shared
that deals with the biography of Roger Federer, after reading the biography questions will be asked such as:
¿where was Roger Federer born? what sport do you practice? in which year Roger Federer was born?

PRESENTATION (15 minutes): After the warm-up, while presenting PowerPoint slides about sports and hobbies,
the teacher will explain the topic Read a text, solve questions in order to improve reading skills. Students will be
able to solve some issues at the same time.

(5 minutes)
PRACTICE: The students will have an exercise where they will put in practice the topic. Then, we share a reading
about Hobbies and some sports taking into account new words in order to acquire new vocabulary. After, we will
practice some exercises with some images about people practicing sports and the students must choose the
correct answer.

PRODUCTION: The students will have an activity in PADLET application in order to put in practice what they
have learned. They have to write a text about what they do on their free time. Some of them will be read.

EVALUATION

FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT: Students will be asked to think about the topic seen, and they should also say what
sport they like more

HOMEWORK
The students Will watch a video about a some sports to learn some vocabulary and for practicing speaking skills.
