OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this module, you will be able to:

● describe integrative art in the context of contemporary art;


● identify the different ways on how integrative art can be
applied in contemporary art;
● explore digital storytelling and new media as forms of
integrative art; and
● reflect on the role of technology in the application of
integrative art in contemporary art.

Integrative art is a multidisciplinary approach in the


study of art using “vocational, scholarly and creative
interest in the arts and design within and outside the
scope of traditional art practice.”

math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking and
verbal skill."

teaching, as it includes the use of keyboard
skills and music in developing the spatial
and spatial-temporal reasoning skills.
