My Definition of Development

In every person’s life, continuous and lifelong development will never

stop, as it is already part of us. As we live in this world, we encounter different
circumstances and challenges that help us grow and developed. It is not an
easy process to pursue as there are many factors that may or may not help
you attain your real growth and purpose. Also, there are individuals or
instruments present along the way of our journey to our development
process.

Development is a lifelong process in which we come across into

different stages, we have the stage from prenatal, infancy, early childhood, late
childhood, adolescence, youth adulthood, midlife, and late-life or old age. In
every stage, we face different situations that help us live our daily lives. Also,
in these stages, we run into such events that lead us to realized and chose the
next step necessary for us. One example of this is the Life Map that we have
made from our past activity in which contains the significant events that lead
us to choose our chosen profession today, which is Teaching. There, I have
shared the events or my experiences that help me realized my real passion
and interests in life. It is also, one example of a development that a person
may have. Through time, through the experiences we have faced, we
developed ourselves, our decision-making, and our character as an individual.

We come across as winning and losing. I strongly believe that we must

take a mistake not as a failure but instead, as an opportunity to do better in
the future. Every experience we have, teach and prepares us for our next step
in life. Whatever we may encounter, we face them confidently and positively.
It is part of our development. These challenges will help us strengthen our
strengths, develop our weaknesses, and make new opportunities. As my own
definition of development, in development, we must trust the process.
