1. Exercise is defined as any movement that makes your muscles work and requires your body to burn
calories. There are many types of physical activity, including swimming, running, jogging, walking,
and dancing, to name a few. Being active has been shown to have many health benefits, both
physically and mentally.
2. Apical site, carotid pulse site, radial pulse site, temporal pulse site
3. bone-strengthening activity include jumping jacks, running, brisk walking, and weight-lifting
exercises, muscular-strengthening include working with resistance bands, doing calisthenics that use
body weight for resistance (such as push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups), carrying heavy loads, and heavy
gardening (such as digging or hoeing).
4. Moderate-intensity physical activity exercise include brisk walking, dancing, housework and
domestic chores, vigorous-intensity physical activity includes running, walking, fast cycling,
aerobics, fast swimming, competitive sports, carrying/moving heavy loads, digging.

What I Have Learned

1. Almost all because I have sedentary lifestyle.
2. I considered as top three hardest activities.
3. All because I am not physically ready.
4. Because running is the hardest activity.
What I Can Do
1. Athletes need to be fast, be able to change directions, have good balance, and all the other skills to be
able to compete and be the best they can.

2. Everyone could benefit from skill related fitness—you may want to enjoy recreational activities. You may
want to be fitter and the activities also help your fitness. You want to have variety and not be bored.
3. Yes. You can be working on your cardiovascular, muscular strength & endurance, or flexibility at the
same time. The more you exercise the less body fat you will have.
4. Improve your health
Regular exercise and physical activity promotes strong muscles and bones. It improves respiratory,
cardiovascular health, and overall health. Staying active can also help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce
your risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and reduce your risk for some cancers.
5. Being physically fit and actively exercising benefits our body through:
• Agility. Being agile helps you in moving quickly yet still maintaining control. With this, you can
effectively change directions when there are obstacles, which can help prevent injuries.
• Balance. Having balance prevents unexpected falls. This helps control the body while doing challenging
tasks. It helps you juggling tasks or chores without you falling or your things falling.
• Coordination. Having coordination helps you in your movement. Like the coordination of your hands and
eyes makes things easier, or coordination of your feet and eyes. Using different parts of your body
efficiently makes it more convenient to doing tasks and chores. It helps you overcome obstacles such as leg
entangling.
• Speed. Of course, this helps reduce the time spent on doing tasks. But alongside speed, each action should
be efficient and well-coordinated so that you can maximize your time. Finishing tasks quickly gives you
more time to do other things.
• Power. Having power is knowing the exact strength and speed you would be exerting to accomplish tasks.
It helps you push through doing the job. It’s the force that your muscle could exert for a particular task. It’s
the combination of overcoming resistance and how fast you move.
• Reaction Time. This was more related to how quickly your brain can comprehend information and how
quickly you respond. It’s somehow part of our reflexes. This has many benefits, such as catching falling
objects or helping prevent severe injuries from falling. Sometimes you won’t even have to think anymore,
and your body would automatically do something as a reaction to something.
Those are just one of the many you were benefiting from for being physically fit. When you’re strong and
healthy, it’ll reduce the risks of injuries while doing tasks or activities. It also helps you in performing duties
as efficiently as you can. This reduces the stress not only in your body but on your mind. So, keep moving,
exercising, and keeping tabs on your health.

What I have Learned
1. Speech context is the way that people use to communicate and transmit message orally
or verbally. It can be interpersonal where you can talk with the other people.
Intrapersonal where you can talk to yourself especially when thinking and making
decisions.
2. There are lots of advantage of having a good communication skills in a variety of
context but I'll just state one the advantage is we can use it in the near future like
interviews and all. Good communication also improves relationships, both with
employees and in your personal life with friends and family members. Listening
carefully and offering quality feedback helps people to feel heard and understood.
This, in turn, nurtures mutual respect. and Yes it will help to us improve our
personality because it will boost our confidence.
3. YES, I agree that speech context can influence one's behavior towards ourselves and
other people because the proper use of tones, choice of words and the theme of our
speech is directly related to our audience. For example, if we are making a speech
about our country, we should be sympathetic and empathetic towards the struggles of
the people. When talking to our parents or older people, we use a formal speech tone
and use formal words. When talking to our friends, we use casual tones and common
jargons thus, we become more comfortable talking with them.
4. Of course intrapersonal is the easiest speech context because we start at talking to our
self in front of a mirror whereas public is the hardest because it takes a lot of courage
to speak in front of a large crowd. Self-training is the best way to improve your skills
because you know what are your strengths and weaknesses. Having advanced skills
makes you a valued individual.
5. How to Improve Your Communication Skills
Practice active listening. Effective communicators are always good listeners. ...

Before this class I had presented in front of classrooms in high school before and had
experience delivering speeches in public. Yet I am still nervous and uncomfortable standing
in front of people presenting. Through this class and the speeches, we delivered I gained
more experience with public speaking. I am still not fully comfortable with presenting in
public, I think I may need take more practice and experience, but I believe I did improve
over the course of this semester. My first speech of the three surrounding our passion topic
went smoothly, though I was nervous. Some of the comments were to slow down and pause
for emphasis, to not sway or fidget so much and to stand up straighter. I was told that my eye
contact was strong and I spoke clearly. I received similar comments on the second speech,
again I needed to slow down.

What I Have Learned
I over come this challenge by facing those adolescents and making it right, And handled it by
facing those problems of me, because only you who can manage your adolescent and
overcome those challenges.
Jose is a very hopeful teenager and would like to be a great musician. He knew that to do
this, he would need to study at the main musca school in the country and his parents had no
money to pay the tuition fees that the school required. Even though he knew that the chances
of getting enough money to study at this school were small, he persevered and did all the
possible work that would yield some money that he could save to make his dream come true.
Last week he helped the town's woodcutters cut wood in the forest, which earned him 100
dollars, but he needed a higher salary.

When he was sitting in the school canteen, while he finished reading the book indicated by
the English teacher, his friend, Dean, came through the canteen door with a leaflet in his
hand.

Dean looked breathless when he reached the chair where Jode was sitting. However, she
took a deep breath and showed the leaflet that informed about the musical composition
contest that a record label was promoting. The prize was $ 5,000, which was less than what
Jose needed, but it would help him a lot.

Jose had no doubts that he would need to participate in the contest and for that reason, he
took the leaflet thanked his friend and was already thinking about a melody that he would
play on his guitar to present in the contest. He could hardly wait to get in his house and open
his bedroom window where the view of nature would inspire him to compose.

 EMOTIONAL SELF- Emotional Self-Awareness is the capacity to tune into

The purpose of developing Emotional Self-Awareness is that it allows us to

understand how our bodily sensations and our emotions impact ourselves,
others, and our environment. Each moment is an opportunity to be self-aware.
Thus, the more we practice it, the more proficient we become and the greater

stimuli, ensuring a more conscious and skillful approach.
 INTERACTIONAL SELF- means the portrayed personality among the society where
the coping mechanisms happen just to comply with the standards of the group

with others, one might consider other person's actions, decisions, and philosophies so
that smooth, harmonious working relationship is maintained.
How do we express our interactional self?

The reason why we have different personalities when we are at home and when we're
on school or workplace is that our interactional self tends to adjust our interact with

because we are accountable for that, and some might do it out of compulsion.

Spiritual - as we express our faith, our mind is filled with hope and acts out differently
to others who do not share the same faith as yours. That is why some people do things
that is uncommon to many because their faith prohibits them to do so.

Affective - it is natural for a person to express his emotions. Some people choose not
to express anything, and others are really governed by their emotions. These extremes
are examples of affective demonstration of interactional self. People may share
emotions to those whom he thinks will understand him.

Verbal - this is the most common method of expressing self. You may not be
expressing in other aspects, but it is certain that you convey your thoughts and ideas
through words, even those who want to be alone somehow express their thoughts
through words.

Artistic - this is the form of expression of interactional self where they give voice to
their emotions and ideas in an abstract, meaningful ways. Some do it in the form of
music, artworks, inventions, and the like.

What I Can Do
A. ACTUAL EVENT-I met an accident and caused physical injury because I went to a computer shop
which my parents forbid me to go because previously, I had accident in that the same place. Instead
of going home after the incident I continue playing online games. Until my mother caught me in the
computer shop. She found out that I can’t walk and stand properly because of the accident which
made her cried. He blamed me because I did not listen to them.
B. BELIEF-If I only listen to my parents’ advice this situation was prevented to happen.
C. CHALLENGE-I felt so stupid and didn’t speak up for the rest of the day.

o One strategy I learned is this module that I plan to try right away is develop a sense of humor.
o We’ve all heard that laughter is the best medicine, and it’s true. Laughter relieves stress, elevates
mood, and makes you more resilient. Being funny is possibly one of the best things I can do for
my health. I can almost think of a sense of humor as my mind's immune system. People at risk
for depression tend to fall into depressive episodes when exposed to some kind of negative
stimuli, and afterwards, it becomes easier and easier for them to relapse into depression.
Activity 1. 5
1. COVID-19 forced my family into financial hardship.
2. worries and anxieties related to the COVID-19 outbreak
3. School closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak have added extra challenges for my
parents specially we don’t have enough resources for my schooling.
4. Growing up in poorer neighborhoods increases the risk of catching the virus.
5. Covid-19 pandemic prevent us attending family gatherings.

Ways how our family cope up with the stress caused by COVID-19 Pandemic

1. We start a new hobby together.

2. Take time to do something that is meaningful, relaxing and fun with my whole family.
We spend more time together.
3. Focus on our health and the health of others in my family by following the IATF
protocols.
We practices basic self-care that will keep our immune system strong and our emotional
reserves full. Get enough sleep. Exercise regularly. Eat well. Try mindfulness apps.
4. We find new ways to connect with our friends and other family members without
contradicting the IATF protocols. We communicate with one another online that are
different from how they’ve been doing it before.
5. Limit our exposure to news media. Constant news about COVID-19 from all types of
media can heighten fears about the disease. Limit social media that may expose us to
rumors and false information.

Activity 3.2
Teenage Life
I'm going through a hard time.
I sit in my room most of time.
I throw things around.
Just to calm me down.

I thought one day everything was going to be okay.

But I'm still waiting for that day.
School is just getting in the way,
And I'm getting judged everyday .

It's just not fair.

I don't know what to wear.
I try my hardest.
But no one thinks it's my hardest.
I just wanna give up.
But I can't as I need to show them up.

There is no point being angry at every one.

When you are just going to be outdone.
I start to cry.
And I know it's time for me to squeeze by.
It's time for me to get on with life.
But it feels like I have be stabbed with a knife.
I don't know how I can go on.
When I look upon.
I see a shooting star and I wish.
But it always ends up in a swish.

I thought you said it was going to be easy.

But I guess you were wrong cause it ain't breezy.
Listen in to your heart.
And you might find the right part.
Why am I breaking apart?
All at the heart.

I don't wanna be torn.

Why can't I just be re -born.
So I can start from the start again.
And then I might lose some of the pain.
Then I might have a better chance.
And I will have a better stance.

I had a dream.
But then I realized that it was to upstream.
I got out of touch with the ones who gave me my wing to fly.
And I began to cry.

I forgot so easy about what really matters.

Now everything is a bit of a splatter.
I feel like I'm upside down.
And I just frown.

I hope I'm dreaming cause I don't like this feeling.

Cause it's very unappealing.
I don't know how to get out of this.
I wish it just wouldn't exist.
can Someone help me.
Or can I just flee.

Everything I do, is making me more confused

And now I feel like I'm just getting used.
I finally get happy.
And then something comes on my mind and I'm unhappy.

Life Is hard and always will be.

but I guess I just have to harden up

4. Teenagers are on the brink of the adult world, looking in, longing to belong. They are also children,
struggling through a developmental milestone. They begin to physically look like adults, do what
adults do such as drive cars and work, and develop adult interests. Yet they have only the life
experiences of a child. This presents a challenging transition between the responsibilities of
adulthood, and the innocence of childhood.
To make this transition as smooth as possible, parents can work with their teens during adolescence
to get them ready to become an adult. After all, every parent’s goal is to raise independent,
responsible, well-adjusted adults who can make a positive contribution to society.

PORTFOLIO IN
PERSONAL
Adolescence is a period of transition when the individual changes, physically and psychologically from a
child to an adult. It is a period when rapid psychologically and physiological changes demand new social
roles to take place. Prior to these changes, the adolescences often face a number of crises and dilemmas.
People may not like you and that is okay because the point of self-love is that it doesn’t matter what other
people think of you. What only matters is what you think of yourself.

That starts with accepting that you are who you are and having faith that there is nothing wrong with that.

You are who you are, and there is nothing wrong with that.

You don’t have to be something else to have worth or to be good enough. Who you are right now, is enough.
Adolescents are moving towards becoming independent physically, emotionally and
cognitively, and yet they are still growing.
Young people still require stability in a home environment, and a secure emotional base from
which to explore and experience the world. This also provides them with somewhere to
come back to for reassurance, support and unconditional love in tough times.
A young person benefits from expectations of respect, consideration and reciprocity in
family relationships. They still benefit from 'trying out' thoughts, feelings and behaviors
within the family environment, and from observing and experiencing relationships within
families. There will still be times when they fall and will benefit from understanding and
support to pick themselves back up.
Family relationships tend to stay strong right through. For teenagers, parents and families are
a source of care and emotional support. Families give teenagers practical, financial and
material help. And most teenagers still want to spend time with their families, sharing ideas
and having fun.
Becoming responsible and being able to make good choices are very important traits no
matter what developmental stage you are in. It holds true for adolescents especially that they
are just beginning to internalize and imbibe virtues, values, and other essential qualities.

It may not be easy to be a teenager. There may be lots of things going on in various facets of
their lives. The demands and expectations of their parents and other people around them can
also be stressful.
5 ways to become a responsible adolescent
1. Know your limitations and rights

2. Give values not only to self but to others as well

3. Think. Analyze. Before taking a step in every thing you do

4. Show care, support and respect to fellow, elderly and even those who are younger than
you

5. Be the reasons for someone who are in need. Know your deepest why in life and live your
Life with PURPOSE
REFECTIVE ESSAY
Adolescence is a stage of your life that will not last forever. When adolescence comes
to mind many people think of rebellion, parties, drugs, sex, hanging out with friends, having
"good times", and having fun, however when I think of adolescence, I take it for what it
really is, simply a time where our bodies and mind mature. Most people have a view on
adolescence including I wish I could be an adolescence forever, and I am glad this is just a
phase and will not last forever. I particularly feel that only the second part of that statement
applies to me at this point in time. Many people wish that they could be an adolescence
forever. Adolescence is a time where we go through puberty and evolve and mature mentally
and physically. During this time, we have physical development including the adolescent
growth spurt and also sexual development.
Everyone has a little bit different maturation and I believe that because of this, this
would be the reason why people would want to be an adolescent forever. For most
adolescents and teenagers being an adolescent is a time to rebel and to have fun. The main
reason for this would be that many adolescences have not reached their peak of maturity.
Even though they yearn to be known as adults by adults and their parents, they actually fear
the responsibilities of growing up such as working and supporting a spouse and kids.
They feel that they want to be more independent but fear being totally independent, it's
actually almost an oxymoron. Even though as earlier stated I don't want to be an adolescent
forever now, I did at one point feel that way. When I was younger at about the age thirteen, I
was nearly done my physical and sexual development but I was far behind in my social
development. I've always had a good strong relationship with my parents, but I had never
had a strong romantic relationship until the current one which started last year. I also as
many still do I was still somewhat afraid of the idea of having to support myself working a
job to make all the money to support even myself, although
I now accept and look forward to the idea of being able to make enough money that I
will never have to worry about money problems for me or my family. With the wisdom and
the knowledge that I have acquired in my times of being a child and an adolescence I look
forward to the future of being an adult and being able to support my family. By now I am
both physically and mentally mature, and I have also developed socially in these short years.
I truly am glad that being an adolescence is just a phase and that I am reaching the very end
of adolescence and the beginning of the rest of my life.
