both the researcher and the study itself.

Measurement refers to the process of comparing a quantity such as length, mass, or time with a standard unit such as
meter, gram, or second.
The two systems of measurement being used today are the metric system and the British system. The metric system has
been adopted by majority of the nations because it is easier to convert from one unit to another. Examples of standard
units of measurement in the metric system are:

Length, mass, and time are three examples of fundamental quantities, so called because other quantities, called
