1. How does Arts affect our Worship Experience? (5pts)
Since Arts serves as an essential part or action of worship, it also create a powerful and
wonderful bond that connects people to God, in a way that it makes the worship more adaptable
and collaborative to the worshipers and the congregation.
2. What is the Major contribution of the Spaniards in our Arts? (5pts)
The major contributions of the Spaniards in the arts of the Philippines are the performing arts
such as the moro-moro and sarzuelas, and also for the visual arts are the accessories and body
ornamentations that every individual owned it according to their social classes.
3. What is the Major contribution of the Americans in our Arts? (5pts)
The major contribution of the americans in the arts of the Philippines is the modification of the
printing press, it was release by the americans and it became open for all, that’s why any books
can be published by different people.
4. After knowing some Historical Values of places and events that contributed for where we
are now, how can you bring awareness in order to preserve those Historical Art Forms?
(10pts)
As the Philippines are generally rich in culture and history, learning what our cultural heritages
(tangible or intangible) are very crucial since they are only made up of our legacy and
memories , but as I have learned through this course the different art forms of our country, I
realized that these are really essential part in giving sense of belongingness and building up our
memory and identity as a filipino. I do believe that we really don’t need to have the expertise to
be able to help on improving preservation practices, I perceived that educating and informing
every individual Filipinos and helping them to see the beauty and value of every art forms would
be a great sustainable, and powerful solution that will work towards our future for a change and
an improvement in cultural heritage.
5. Make a Liturgy of your church with enhanced parts using different art forms that we had
discussed. (25pts)
