 A. Introduction the Community

Here you will describe the community you live in and its population, the
municipality it belongs, city and region. You may also discuss here the statistics of the
community such as the number of house-hold, its land area, and total number of Purok or
Sitios. What is important to note is that you can give us an idea of what community you
are living in.

B. Disaster Prevention and Mitigation

a. Hazard Assessment
In this section you will discuss what are the hazards that are possible to happen in
your area. You may subcategorize it as shown here:

C. Disaster Preparedness
In this section you will discuss on how you are going to prepare for the hazards that you
have mentioned above. You can put specific steps like committee or assigned offices in
your barangays. You can also make your own organizational chart and tasking of
officers. The things that you may purchase and other essentials for disaster preparedness
can be included here.
D. Disaster Response
Here you are going to discuss the things that you can do. You can also specify here the
evacuation plan, evacuation map, and the people who will be prioritize during the
calamity. You may also include here steps on how to achieve your response plan.

E. Disaster Rehabilitation and Recovery

In this section you will discuss your plan on how to do rehabilitation and recovery stage
after the calamity. You may also include here budget preparations and other assigned
people for the implementation of your recovery and rehabilitation plan.

Remember to be practical and logical in making this management plan. Your goal is to
make a safer community for the citizen of your barangay. Think of this as a real-life
scenario where you can save lives of people by planning well.
