Respected Judges and my dear friends

Today ,I am here before you to express my views, in favour on topic ”Is Global
warming a real issue?”

Despite the scientific agreement, some people do not believe that global warming is
occurring.

-They don't believe the statistics that shows increasing trend in global temperatures,
because we don't have enough long-term historical climate data.

- A few scientists think that data is being interpreted incorrectly by people who are
already worried about global warming.

-Some argue any increase in global temperatures we see, could be a natural climate
shift.

+++ Plants and animals will adapt to subtle shifts in weather patterns, Slightly longer
seasons, changes in precipitation levels are not generally disastrous, cutting down
on the greenhouse gases will be far more damaging to humans.

Lets take the examples of Major Global issues right now , how they are connected to
global warming :-

Mental health - Does weather affect mental health?

 Climate change indirectly affects mental health as exposure to extreme

heat may leading to increase use of alcohol to cope with stress, leading to
emergency mental health or psychiatric conditions, such as anxiety-
disorder and suicidal tendency.
 Climate change –
 Ecological collapse are the direct result of global warming

 Biotechnology risk – use of renewable resources, can save energy and

significantly reduce CO2 emissions and cope with global warming . But it is
leading to new risks such as allergy , genetically modified organism (GMO)
,super weeds etc.

Nuclear holocaust -
A nuclear attack would kill wildlife and destroy the vegetation resulting in blast,
heat, and nuclear radiation


  Overpopulation – 7.8 billion ,- More people means more demand for oil,
gas, coal and other fuels mined means more emission of carbon dioxide
(CO2) into the atmosphere .
 Pandemic - We don’t have direct evidence that climate change is
influencing the spread of COVID-19, but Deforestation, which occurs
mostly for agricultural purposes, is the largest cause of habitat loss
leading to Large livestock farms that served as link for transferring
infections from animals to people.

Each and every global major issue to directly or indirectly impacted by global
wamring hence , global warming is real issue.
