An academic library is a library
that is attached to a higher

serves two complementary
purposes: to support the

faculty and students.
Public Library
A public library is a library that
is accessible by the general
public and is usually founded
from public sources, such as
taxes. It is operated by librarians
and library paraprofessionals,
who are also civil servants.
School Library
A school library (or a school
library media center) is a library
within a school where students,
staff, and often, parents of a
public or private school have
access to a variety of
resources.Serves students from
kindergarten to Grade 12.
Special Library
A special library is a library
that provides specialized
information resources on a
particular subject, serves a
specialized and limited
clientele, and delivers
specialized services to that
clientele.

produced naturally in particular
region or locality.
Sources that are obtained
traditionally by an indigenous
community or people.

Primary Sources

sources are journals,diaries
and manuscripts,speeches
and records or
organizations.
Secondary Sources
is a document or recording that
relates or discusses information
originally presented elsewhere.

Tertiary Sources
is an index or textual
