Session 2
1. Introduction the author and the novel’s background
2. Review the vocabulary of chapter 1-2.
3. What is personification.
4. Personification in chapter 1.
Announcement: Reading Day-read chapers1-2 with the teacher during office hours.
Assignment: Personification worksheet.
Session 3

1. Define the term foreshadowing

2. Provide examples of foreshadowing in general.
3. Discussion of the for shadowing occurring in chapter 2.

Assignment: Foreshadowing worksheet.
