How the Philippine Government should Actively Participate in Global Governance

The Philippine Government has been intact with global governance ever since the

Philippines asked for their independence from other countries that invaded and

captured the Philippines. The Philippines is also a peaceful country, to begin with, ever

since joining organizations such as the United Nations, The World Bank, and many

more. These organizations that the Philippine Government affiliated with, are

organizations that made a statement and a background for the country. It is expected

from the Philippines to be disciplined and following international or global laws.

Good governance in the Philippines is a must. It provides prudent policies, will be able

to provide more funds for the country, and it can also limit the Filipinos leaving the

country to find a better and sustaining life in other countries. The Philippine Government

should also be actively participating in global governance, just like administering the

Philippines, the Philippine Government should also be able to ask for help and

assistance from other nations. The Philippines is still at a developing stage wherein it

will need more attention and assistance from other countries to be able to climb up and

level with other countries.

The present Philippine government has been continuing the tradition and convention to

facilitate and connect with other global governance. The Philippines had been in heated

situations, wherein nation leaders have a little rebuttal with each other that makes the

relationship shaky. Though the Philippine government has been able to stand its ground

and maintain a healthy relationship with other nations.

I would say, that the current Philippine Government should maintain a healthy

relationship with other nations since another global governance is willing to help each

other and guide each other to a better nation. So it would be best for the current

Philippine Government to coordinate and to be under the international and global

standard.
