A. RESEARCH INFORMATION

Uplifting the Bar of Interest and Academic Performance: the case of Grade four
pupils in EPP through Multi media Instruction

Makiling Elementary School is categorized as big school, the congenital problem

of waste management and the proper place for waste disposal comes along with it.
Increasing of enrolment has made the types and kinds of Solid Waste very diverse and their
management much more complex. Regarding with this problem, barangay officials with
the faculty conducted meeting regarding on how the waste will be collected and segregated.

Project BOTE (lets Build, be Open-Minded, and Take Care our Environment) aims
to lessen the waste produce in every classroom. Before, we only segregate papers to be
collected by the ECOWASTE team of the school and the rest waste was disposed as
garbage to be collected by authorized waste picker. To lessen the garbage that dispose we
come up with the project BOTE. Where we segregate the plastic wrappers by putting them
inside the bottle. Some grade level practice this by group and some are individual.
