Intern Portfolio Management and Live Trading of shares - I used to do different analysis of stock portfolio and
observe variations in the stock market. Based on these variations we used to make rational decisions on buying
and selling stocks.

 Intern in General Banking, Trade Finance, Insurance and Foreign Currency Accounts Department
 Assisted both the Financial and Management Reporting Functions of Corporate Finance

 Intern Accounts Department
 Managed double entry of accounts regarding revenues and expenses. Prepared daily revenue sheets for
the hotel and used to compare that with data from competitors.
 In this internship these was a lot of focus on providing customer service and providing clear and accurate
information in response to their needs.

Helped with my family department store for 3 years during my studies on part time basis and managed 3-5
employees. I gained first hand customer service experience during this work. I also learned how to manage
inventory and supplies and place order with suppliers.

Academic Project
Options Project [Option Future and other derivatives/ Masters Module]
We analyzed the practical computation of futures hedge ratios for two UK stock index 100 and 250 futures price.
Also outlined the underpinnings of the Minimum Variance Hedge Ratio approach to the determination of hedge
ratios for futures contracts We also implemented our analysis to check hedge effectiveness in 100 or 250 future
contract index

Finance Project [Corporate Finance / Masters Module]

We looked at the UK region to figure out the stock price, dividend, operating income and market capitalization
affect the dividend payout ratio? I used literature reviews and current data to find out the exact relationship
through statistical testing.

Finance Project [SME Module]

I produced a financial feasibility report for setting up a school. This included estimating fixed and variable costs
from salaries, expenses, advertising, infrastructure etc. and also detailed projected revenue.

History & Balance Sheet Analysis [History & Balance Sheet Module]
Project on National Foods Organization of Pakistan where we analyzed key financial ratios, profitability, credit risk,
market risk and control expense measures, liquidity risk ratios which included government securities and core
deposits to total assets. We checked the benchmark against individual ratios and compared that with the overall
industry.

Market Research Project [Marketing Module]

Conducted Market Research for Levis in my undergraduate studies with the aim of finding its marketing techniques
and key role in the market. We worked on four P’s of Levis (promotion, product, price and placement in the
Pakistan. How they cater different classes with different product ranges like Levis 501, Strauss and Signature.

Entrepreneurship Project [SME Module]

We did practical business activity in our university and competed with different sections while coming up with
innovative ideas. We set up a carnival which entailed advertising efforts and a wide range of activities e.g. cultural
stalls, food stalls, console gaming etc. to provide the consumer with everything under one banner. I lead the
management efforts for this project and learnt a lot from it.

Strategic Management Project [Strategic Management]

Carried out a strategic Audit for Haleeb Milk Company and identified its Opportunities, Strengths, Weakness and
Threats. External and internal factors were taken in to consideration. Then compared benchmark performance to
overall industry and it had positive outcome

 I got a scholarship for four years on merit for BBA, Lahore School of Economics from 2006 to 2010
