Hi Jake,

From all the jobs you have mentioned. I think kitchen helper and house cleaner
are almost the same. You need to do a lot of about work. If you only want some
fast cash, there is nothing wrong with these jobs. The good thing about it is that it
is easy to find job like that. However if you want a less tiring one, I suggest you
look for tutoring job. You are so good in your studies, why not share your
knowledge with people who need it and earn some money at the same time?

A person’s habits show who they really are. Many successful people like
Barack Obama, Michael Jordan, and Lee Chong Wei all have many good habits.
These habits are great examples for us to learn from. Here, I want to talk about a
good habit that I have always had with me since I was a little girl.

I always get up early in the morning even when I do not have school. My
mother is the person who taught me this. She always says if we wake up early,
we have more time to do more things and I believe in that too. When I have
school, I will get up early and make sure I have time to eat my breakfast. This will
allow me to focus better during classes. When it is holidays, I will wake up early
to help my mother with her house chores.

Besides, I also realise if I wake up early, I can spend my morning reading
and doing homework. In the afternoon, I will have plenty of time to go out and do
some outdoor activities. I feel healthier and less stressful after exercising.

I think it is important for all of us to have good habits. I recommend everyone to
try waking up early. You will feel that you have more time than the others and
you can do more things than other people. If you have not tried it, try it today!

Pollutions are bad for our environment. It brings negative effects to our
lives too. One of the pollutions that is happening now in Malaysia is air pollution.
Malaysians face this problem every year.

Every year, haze happens in Malaysia and it is a serious problem for the
country. It happens when the neighbouring country and local farmers start open
burning in large areas to make space for their new corps. The smoke from
Indonesia is blown to our country and pollutes the air.

When haze happens, the air becomes dirty and dangerous for our body.
When we stay too long outside during the haze season, we can fall sick. People
might have red eyes, sore throat, headache or even fever. It is also bad for
asthma patients. They will have breathing difficulty because of the dirty air.

Air pollution like haze is harmful. Our government should take serious
actions to stop haze. The people who do open burning should also be punished.
People deserve better air for better life.

You should take a flight. A flight from Kuala Lumpur to Penang is cheap now. It
will not cost you more than RM150. Although it is still more expensive than using
the other transportations, you can get there really fast. If you take a bus, you will
have to wake up early and spend many hours on the bus. Sometimes, the seats on
the bus are not comfortable. So, I recommend you to take a flight and get some
extra time to explore Penang.

Being kind is great. We all have the experience where someone is kind to
us and we feel thankful and happy about it. So, I think we all should be kind to
people too. I do this at school all the time.

One time, I was lining up at the canteen during the break. I wanted to buy
some fried noodle with chicken. The line was long so I was looking around while
waiting for my turn. Suddenly, I saw a form 1 girl sitting alone at a corner. She
looked sad. She kept on looking at other people’s food and she had none with
her.

After I bought my food I decided to walk to her. I asked her why didn’t
she have any food with her. She told me that she had forgotten her pocket money
so she could not buy any food. I felt bad for her and I decided to share my food
with her. I asked her to sit next to me and we ate the fried noodle together. She
thanked me for being kind to her.

After that, I walked back to my class and she went back to hers. I was
happy I could help her. Maybe next time if I face the same problem, someone
would be kind to me too.

Last month, the IT club in my school had visited an IT company. We were
brought to see how a mobile phone is designed and made. From the visit, we also
learned the importance of mobile phone in our lives.

A mobile phone is a device that helps us stay in touch with people around
us. We can call, text, and record voice message to our friends and family, near or
far. Besides, with how fast the Internet is growing, we can search for a lot of
information with our phones.

Not only that, mobile phones are so small, it is easy for us to carry it
around and use the apps in it to suit our needs. For example, if we need a
calculator or a map to look for directions, all we have to do is just to take out our
mobile phones and start typing away.

Lastly, we can use mobile phones to record our lives. We can snap
pictures and record videos anytime anywhere now. We do not need to carry
cameras that are heavy and expensive with us. Mobile phones are also easier to
use even a child can take great pictures.

Mobiles phone has many benefits if we use it wisely. There is no doubt we
cannot live without mobile phones.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year at schools. It is an important day to
show love to all the teachers who have sacrificed so much for us.

On Teacher’s Day, teachers and students get together for the celebration.
Students would perform or make videos to entertain their teachers. Some
students will also come to school with gifts to give to their teachers. Some
students even organise class party to invite all their teachers to have a good meal
together. They also take this opportunity to take pictures with their beloved
teachers for memory.

This celebration is extremely important to remind students of the love
they get from their teachers. Everyday, they work so hard to make sure we do
well in our studies. They are also our coaches and advisors in extra-curricular
activities. They play a lot of roles to help us be a better person. Sometimes, they
spend more time with us in school than they do with their family. When we go
out for competition, our teachers travel and stay with us to take care of us. They
make sure we are safe and healthy.

Teachers are like burning candles, they burn themselves to light the way
for others. If you have not told your teachers how much you appreciate them,
you should do it now!

Water is vital in life. We need water in our body in order to survive.
Doctors recommend us to drink about 8 glasses of water a day to stay healthy.
Many researches have also shown that drinking a glass of water right after we
wake up in the morning is good for us. Water has many benefits in our lives.

First of all, we will not fall sick that often when we have clean water. Some
people at the rural area do not have enough clean water to drink. That is why
they can easily fall sick when they have to drink unclean water.

Some people have clean water but they do no drink enough of it. These
people can also fall sick especially when the weather is hot. That is why doctors
advise us to drink more water when we visit them at the clinic.

Not only that, if we choose to drink water, we avoid sugary drinks like
carbonated drinks, coffee and tea. This can help prevent diseases like diabetes
and obesity. Some people also suggest that if we drink plenty of water everyday,
we will look younger and feel healthier. If we feel healthier, our mental health
will also be healthier.

Water helps maintain overall body health. We should encourage each
other to drink more water and say goodbye to other beverages.
