The Inspiration
I solely took care of my mother for three years while she gracefully battled stage 4
cancer. One way my mom would keep her spirits lifted would be to keep around or wear silly,
whimsical things. Toward the end of the third year, when she had no choice but to wear
diapers, it broke my heart.
However; it did also remind me of clothing struggles she had in general and the lack of
options for specialty medical undergarments and clothing. I decided I was going to change
that.

Objectives
Do my part of easing the negative effect necessary adult diapers, infusion shirts,
anxiety aides, etc have on social wellness by not only making comfortable options; but
offering fun designs.
I will start with online sales, and marketing. There are two vendors I have kept in
contact with from time to time for when I am ready to take the next step.
Long term, I will brand my products and sell them to hospitals and home health
agencies as well as from my storefront and continued online sales. With feedback from
customers I will create new innovative products – all at a lower cost.

Company Ownership
I own 100% of Inspired By Donnah LLC. I do not intend to publicly trade or sell shares.

Location
Being in Houston, TX is one of the biggest advantages for this company due to our
amazing medical center. I will find a small storefront within 20 miles of the medical center
and offer same day shipping once I have drivers and sales are profiting.
I will need to make sure the store is handicap accessible.

Hours
I will be open an hour earlier than standard hours and close an hour later for
customers convenience. Once I have reached my goal to offer same day delivery, that will
continue after we’ve closed if necessary.
Products
Personally designed adult diapers, convenience and handicap friendly apparel, post
operation apparel, and anxiety relief accessories, all made with 100% safe hypo allergenic
materials.

Suppliers/Manufacturing
The designs for apparel, keepsakes, and anxiety accessories are all made myself. To
do this I need digital design software, ample crafting space, and the materials to work with.
I will be importing the majority of my inventory that is not handmade. This includes all
apparel and diapers.

Cost

 Est $1,500 per month retail space with sufficient storage

 Est $800-$1,600 per month for employees
 Est $6,200 inventory
600 per design of 200 pcs apparel
400 per size, per design adult diapers

 Deposits, Marketing, Insurance and Taxes, Loan Payments, Travel, Office and Crafting
Furniture, Payroll, and Utilities will all be initial cost.

By selling my post operation tops alone, I can sell them at half the cost of major competitors
and still make over 100% profit per sale.

Marketing
Because I believe in my idea to strongly, I will offer small trial sets for applicable places in
hospitals, infusion centers, and skilled nursing facilities.
