November 7, 2021, 2:00 pm

Function Hall, Somoray Park and Resort,
Bobon, Northern Samar

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention

please. We are about to begin Lexa’s 18 th Birthday party celebration, so
please find your seats and table and make yourselves comfortable and
enjoy the rest of the day. By the way, I am Aleh, Lexa’s voluptuous
uncle. I will be your host for this very wonderful and blessed 18 years of
existence of the life of Lexa.

Welcome to Somoray Park and Resort here in Bobon, Northern Samar!

Welcome to a celebration of a wonderful life for a girl who is now turning
into a fine lady. All of you who are here tonight have witnessed her grow
over the years into the wonderful person she is now. As a jumpstart, let
us all welcome and acknowledge the ever supportive and loving family of
our debutant: (entrance of the family)

Siblings: Kuya Beboy

Ate Karen
Kuya Nitoy

Parents: Papa Edwin and Mama Miriam

To open today’s celebration, here’s a quick look of how this lovely,

young lady came about. Roll VTR, please. (AVP plays, featuring Lexa’s
collection of photo memories)

Today is a celebration of adulthood and a thanksgiving of the life God

has given to our lovely celebrant. Let us put our hands together, as we
welcome the main highlight of this celebration, and as she stepped into a
higher level of life, escorted by ______________________________,
ladies and gentlemen, our debutant, KAYE LEXA EDRIAM BELLO
GIRAY! Sweet music, please.

Grand Entrance of Debutant

Wow, blooming and lovely, indeed! Saan nga ba siya nagmana? Kay
Mama ba? Or kay Papa? Or sa akin? Ahahaha. Evidently, before today,
Lexa has had happy years in a very happy home. The love of a family
will always be God’s greatest blessing. Sabi nga nila, in life, we can have
several friends, classmates, social circles, kapatid, and kapuso but there
is only a kapamilya or one family who is always willing and ready to
welcome us no matter what.

In the Lord’s spirit, may I ask everyone to please stand for the Lord’s
moment for our guidance and blessings to be led by the Vicar General of
the Diocese of Catarman, the Very Rev. Msgr. Gaspar “Apang” Balerite.

At this moment, the very handsome Julius Alfred Calumpiano will give us
a surprise number.

Wow. Thank you, Julius for that awesome number.

The 18 roses symbolize the woman’s readiness for romance. She

dances with 18 men who will give her a rose each before dancing with
her. The 18th rose is usually reserve to the most important man in the
debutante’s life or the special someone in her life. Like a pretty flower
that attracts bees and butterflies, Lexa will be surrounded by 18 equally
handsome gentlemen who will represent the debutant’s 18 roses.

Starting off with: (Read list, up to 17 only)

The father and daughter dance is probably one of the most loved
traditions in any Filipino debut celebration. This signifies the daughter’s
first step to womanhood and the father’s acceptance of this period in his
daughter’s life. The last dance is of course reserved to the forever most
handsome and most loving guy in her life. To dance with our debutant,
Lexa’s 18th rose, ladies and gentlemen, Papa Edwin Giray!

The 18 candles symbolize the Lexa’s journey to a bright future. Eighteen

women were selected and they then each light a candle that symbolizes
light – light that will guide Lexa on her life journey. Every candle
symbolizes a year of her existence. Each one will be a visible reminder
of Lexa’s triumph over challenges in life… serves as lamp that brings her
optimistic view of the world she’s about to enter and a guiding light that
gives her a sense of direction. And now to give her the first candle and
message, may I call on ___________________.

Host to call names one by one and maybe do ad-libs after every
message.
Lexa is probably needing a break after dancing with the 18 guys and
listening to 18 messages. So this time, we will be entertained by a
special number which is to be given to us by Mr. Kier Carlo R.
Camacho.

The 18 treasures symbolize things that the debutante needs to succeed

towards womanhood. Eighteen people were chosen to give a gift to the
debutante. While handing it, the person will give a speech on why he or
she picks that gift for her. The gifts are intended to be treasured and
cherished for the rest of her.

Host to call names one by one and maybe do ad-libs after every
message.

Wisdom is the ability to know what is true or right, common sense or the
collection of one's knowledge. Wisdom is ability to make a decision based
on the combination of knowledge, experience, and intuitive
understanding. To give the words of wisdom for our debutant, let us
welcome, the debutant’s grandmother, Dr. Perla B. Bello and Dr. Linda A.
Cinco.

Indeed, the wisdom of the old is invaluable and priceless (sa edad la ha,
but they are still stunning and look very young). Surely, Lexa will treasure
the messages of her Lola Perla and Teacher Cinco.

Thank you so much Dr. Perla Bello and Dr. Linda Cinco.

This time, ito na yung sinasabi ko na they are still stunning and look very
young plus enthusiastic pa. Please welcome, the Lola’s for their special
number.

Wowwwwww… ibusan ak umapi. Ehehe

Thank you for that wonderful presentation.

The 18 blue bills. The 18 blue bills symbolize financial stability and

independence. In this portion, each participant pins a thousand peso bill
on the Lexa’s dress while she is dancing with her escort.

Host to call names one by one and maybe do ad-libs while pinning the
bill.

Today’s celebration tells me that the best demonstration of gratitude in

response to a wonderful experience like this one can be contained in is
an overwhelming thank you. And if there’s one person here tonight who
is more than grateful to see all of you, that would be our beloved
celebrant, Lexa. I’m giving the floor to our dear debutant to give her
message of thanks through a special number with her cousins. A round
of applause, please.

Thank you so much Lexa. Your act of gratitude is appreciated.
