A blessed afternoon to each and every one, and welcome to Russel’s 18th birthday party, we would like to

thank everyone in this beautiful venue for gracing this momentous celebration as they say we only get to be 18
once, but before that may I invite everyone to please stand for the prayer.

Prayer:

Once again, good afternoon. We are gathered here today to witness the transformation of a young girl into a
beautiful lady.

Welcoming of Guest to the Event:

All of us who are here now have surely watched her grow over the years into the wonderful person she is now.
A lady of good heart and character.

And we are very blessed, for we are chosen to be here and be part of this momentous occasion in the debutant's
life. As a jumpstart, let us all welcome and acknowledge the ever-supportive and loving family of our debutant.
Ms. Rusian Mayol as well as our debutant's grandma and uncles. Without them, her life would be empty and
unhappy. Let’s give them around of applause.

And at this point, without further ado, let us all rise and put our hands together as we welcome the main
highlight of this celebration and as she steps into a higher level of life. Ladies and gentlemen, our llady of the

how much you know about her, because it’s trivia time. So our debutant will ask us a question then we
raise our hands If we know the answer. Alright.

The presentation of the rose symbolizes the young lady's entry into the full bloom of womanhood.
Like a flower that blooms and exudes its sweet scents to attract bees and butterflies, the debutant will be
swarmed later on by 18 equally gentlemen. To offer their dance and their unconditional love for the debutante.
Let us start with:
And now to complete the 18 roses, the last dance is reserve for the very special man in her life. Her
motivator and supporter. Friends, ladies and gentlemen, let us give a round of applause to the father, Mr.
___________ together with out lovely debutant for their father and daughter Dance.
Alright, once again our debutant and her dad. Perhaps, the father and daughter dance are probably one of the
most loved traditions in any Filipino debut celebration. This signifies the daughter’s first step to womanhood
and the father’s acceptance of this period in his daughter’s life. As the debutant receives her 18 roses let it be a
reminder that like the rose life beautiful, however, there are thorns that signify that life isn’t always smooth
sailing but with the support of family and friends it would be easier.

Willa Cather? “Where there is great love, there are always wishes.” Because birthdays are always new
beginnings, new endeavors with new set of goals, sending birthday messages and wishes is a tradition especially
in our country, where we give high value to family ties and relationship. This afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, I
present to you these 18 Wishers for our debutant. These are the people close to the heart of our celebrant, and
whom she listens and confides to for inspiring words and friendly advice. And now to give the first candle and
message, may we call:

Today’s celebration tells me that the best demonstration of gratitude in response to a wonderful experience like
this one can be contained in an overwhelming thank you. And if there’s one person here tonight who is more
than grateful to see all of you, that would be our beloved celebrant, Ms. Russel. And now, I’m giving the floor
to our dearest debutant to give her message for all of us.
