Sanitary dustbin recruitment plan

There are various methods and sources of recruitment


The methods are:
1. direct recruitment method which includes interviews, field recruitment,
telephonic recruitment, use of posters and billboards.
2. indirect recruitment method which involves the use of a third party to bridge
the gap between employers and the job-seekers. It basically involves
recruitment through advertisement in newspapers, magazines, journals and
television ads, public employment exchange, placement agencies, trade unions
and recommendations from friends or family who is already working.

There are two sources of recruitment


1. Internal source which consists of transfers and promotions
2. External source of recruitment which consists of advertisements,
employee exchange, placement agencies, educational institutions,
contractors, recommendations and unsolicited applicants.

For our firm we would like to proceed with a hybrid of direct and indirect
methods of recruitment by holding interviews and handing out posters and
advertising through media and newspapers and all other sources to get the fresh
sources for our enterprise.

This job is physically demanding, and requires candidates to be able to


perform duties that include the following:

 Lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions.


 Drive garbage trucks while others ride along.
 Operate the truck mechanisms for lifting, dumping, and setting the trash
cans or dumpsters down.
 Perform some manual labour for items such as brush piles or furniture
that trucks can't lift.
 Plan, implement and delegate scheduled operations such as clean up
drives.
 Monitoring waste segregation, route, collection services etc.

The key responsibilities of this job include taking the garbage to an


appropriate disposal facility such as a dump or landfill at the end of the day.
These facilities have the staff and equipment to empty the trucks, but
sometimes sanitation workers need to help.

SALARY:
the salary may vary depending on the task allocated to the employee and also based
on the areas of expertise, experience, education certification and so on
salary for top level employees: 20,000 per month
salary for medium level employees: 15,000 per month
salary for bottom level employees: 10,000 per month
QUALIFICATION:
The sanitation worker position involves fulfilling education and training
requirements as follows:

 Education: Postings for sanitation worker positions usually require


applicants to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
 Experience: If any experience is required, it is typically less than two
years.
 Training: As long as an applicant is able-bodied, ethical, and willing to
work, the city can teach a new hire all they need to know to be
successful in the position.

In addition to the basic job requirements, candidates that possess the


following skills have a greater advantage

 Handle heavy weights: Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.


 Physical dexterity: Can easily repeat the same moves over and over
with no problem.
 Endure tough working conditions: Ability to be on their feet for long
hours and work in confined spaces.
 Team player: Works well with others.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Application form consisting about the basic information of the employees should be
filled and the applicant should accompanied by a cv or a cover letter. Applications
will then be scrutinised as eligible candidates will be informed to prepare for a
physical interview with a panel of employers.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
All the candidates will be going through a through face to face interview with a panel
of managers .

One on one meeting is preferred depending on the constraint panel interviews/


telephonic interview and video conference screening.

The candidates will be tested on the basic aptitude, analytical skills and other such
required skills such as physical and emotional balance and also the personality
traits.

It will be focussing on evaluating the candidates on the basis of terms of job


requirement and fit within the organisation.
The reports of each interview will be submitted to the HR and the HR will compile the
results and provide simplified reports to the managers/directors for selection.

PROFESSIONAL AND BACKGROUND


REFERNCE CHECK:
Professional reference check will be completed by the hiring manager as he will
check the quality of previous work experience/ conduct/ personal traits/ responsibility
and authority and so on

There will also be a background check to assess the integrity and code of conduct of
the candidates

Information provided in the applications will be cross checked and information


regarding educational qualification, professional certificate, address details, date of
birth, proof of previous employment services will be verified.

MEDICAL CHECK
after the candidate has qualified for the reference check he will have to go through a
panel of doctors to check whether the candidate is physically or mentally fit or not
and also to check if he/she has any chronic illness that can be contaminated or
spread or not. Once the candidate has passed all the above test he will be granted a
position based on his/her overall results.
