Module 1, Lesson 1.1; Industrial Plant Design Aspects

Module Overview

Students reaching the last year of the Mechanical Engineering course should now be ready in
facing the challenges in handling the bulk of discussions for this subject. Stock knowledge learned
from the previous subjects, should already be enough in handling Industrial Plant Design aspects.
Apply all those knowledge during the technical discussions for the durations of this subject. In this
Subject, students will be exposed on the field of actual practice in an Industrial Plant set-up based
on its Operations and Maintenance, Equipment’s & Machineries involved for an specific application,
including government compliance that requires Mechanical Engineering designs prior to start of its
operations and produce the finished product regardless of the nature of its business. Actual
operations videos and photos will be presented during the progress of the online discussions for
the better understanding and easily digesting all the topics with the use of an aide of the five
