PROCEDURE

1. Cleaning crucible porcelain and lid with Nitric acid (HNO3) 6M


2. Rinse with aquadest
3. Heat the crucible with the lid on the triangle, until it turns red for 2 minutes
4. Weigh after cooling to the accuracy of 0.001 gr
5. Put 1 gr Chloride Hexahydrate in the watch glass and weigh it on analytical balance
6. Put 1 gram Chloride Hexahydrate (CoCl2) XH2O sample into krusibel
7. Weigh krusibel and its contents
8. Put the crucible in the triangle with the lid away from the center, heat it again
9. Wait for 10 minutes, center again the lid and refrigerate
10. Weigh again until a constant weight is obtained
11. Observing the residue obtained, add water to the crucible until 2/3 filled with water
