Now that you have a story and the start of a mix, it is time to write your Artist Statement. First, we will
read this blog post on writing an Artist Statement together and discuss the key elements we need to
include. Then you will start drafting your statement below. Fill out the two templates below and
then copy and paste your complete paragraphs at the bottom of this document!Just like before,
there are provided sentence stems that you can fill out the blanks to earn a 3. If you want to try creating
your own, go for it!
Try writing in active voice! That means the subject (you!) is doing the actions!
