Purpose
Describe the purpose of the web application. What does it do for the teacher? Student? Parent?

Easiest Way to Collect Student Data | EDTech Made Easy - Plickers Tutorial - This video describes how to use the app
and the process which student use in the class. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=320QHqcc88k

Features
1. Plickers uses an app that is downloaded onto the teacher’s phone. This makes it easier for the teacher to scan the room for
the student’s answers
2. Plicers uses printable answer cards that each student will keep all year. These cards allow students to answer without having
to use pencils or a digital device. The cost of using these cards is a lot less expensive than digital devices for each student.
3. Plickers can be used in card mode, e-learning mode, or a combination of both. In the COVID pandemic, this is important
because there may be times when students are e-learning instead of attending classes in person.
4. Plickers has a timer feature. This is important because it will show students the amount of time left to answer the question.
5. Plickers can be used for multiple subjects. This is important because it make the app versatile and useful to teachers and
other school staff, no matter what subject or grade level.

communities, ability to access student results in a broader range, and it gives you priority customer support. The Plickers cards
are free to print but there is a more durable version of the cards that can be purchased from Amazon for $20.

Possible Improvements
1. One improvement could be a scanning device made specifically for Plickers could be made and included in the Pro version.
This will allow the teacher the ability to not have to use his/her cell phone.
2. When printing the free cards, it would be helpful if they could easily be laminated. I read several reviews that state that self-
laminating can cause the cards to be difficult to scan.
3. Another improvement would be to allow collaboration with other users with the free version. This would open up a greater
network of connections with other teachers and students.

Support Available

There is a website that offers free support. Help.plickers.com There are numerous questions/answers on this site along with an
