Abstract

This study sought to determine the satisfaction level of students in terms of food

canteen services and to discover the significant relationship between the satisfaction

level in canteen services and academic performance of senior high school students in

Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School. The study made use of descriptive-

correlational method with two hundred sixty six (266) grade 12 senior high school

students of Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School from the different strands that

were randomly chosen as the respondents of this research study. One set of instrument

was developed by the researcher. Findings revealed that Canteen services in terms of

service quality, cleanliness, price and food quality does not reached the students’

satisfaction level and there is no significant relationship between canteen services and

the academic performance of respondents, but it is in neutral intensity of correlation.

This solely implies that the senior high school students’ performance in their academic

does not involve in any of the canteen’s services of Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High

School. The study should be reinvestigated considering other variables that may shed

more light on the problem.
